No Insulation
This skirt had no insulation in it. It's just two layers of thin fabric, quilted. I had to return it - I don't want my buns to freeze off. Shame, it did look really cute on me.

Thin
I was disappointed how thin the fabric was . Doesn’t feel like there is any filling , just flat nylon fabric

Love - but the sizing has changed?
Purchasing 2 more of these as I love them, however I was dismayed to find that the sizing of the 2 new shirts are larger than my previous ones and I will have to have them taken in! I’m still happy with the colour, but they fit more like a size small than extra small and are about an inch wider than my older 2 skirts!

Fit is really big. the back part is sort of strange and ducky. did not fit my body type (slim and not curvy) but I could see it fit tinga different body type really well and be flattering & warm.

Reading the reviews I was nervous about trying this skirt. I even quickly said "no way" once I tried it on. But I compared it to the more close-to-the-body skirts and in a few days/a few more try ons I realized it was more social than fitness oriented in it's cut, but was cute and chill in it's own way. The waist being more like a yoga-pants material instead of relying on side-only stretch like most skirts is super comfy if your ski includes a snack/sit hang before and after. I probably would have sized down from medium to small if I'd tried in-store. Really didn't want the waist to be tight. Fits with the general oversize/relaxed cut trends for snow gear in 2024. Skirt keeps core cozy but leaves lots of room to shed heat through the thighs during a 5k ski.

Cute winter skirt
Note, it's a pull on skirt! There's no zipper. It does have stretch fabric at the top and a bit on the sides of your hips. So if you've got hips like me, size up. I'm between the sizes of S-M, and initially ordered the small based on reviews and the A line fit. Yet, couldn't easily get her over my hips so sized up. The M is loose around my waist now, but I'm going to be wearing this over layers and a sweater/jacket will hid any looseness in the waist. It's a thinner/lighter insulated skirt compared to the backcountry one.

Hip-py skirt, for the larger hip woman!
This skirt is made of nice fabric and is good weight but the shape/design is off. I think it might work for someone who has large hips. I have hips, but not super wide. The skirt flairs out in a wider than A-line shape and for me at least there too much fabric around the hips.

Perfect for variable cool conditions.
I bought this in a whim thinking I was pushing it in the “practicality” department, but I am super happy I bought this skirt. Wore it a few times this winter over leggings in inclement weather. Best useage was on a day hike with a ton of vertical and super windy and variable temps—everything from pleasant to crossing snow pack. It was 110% perfect for that excursion. Can’t wait for it to get cold again so I can use this item. Love it.

Cute skirt, bit of an odd design
Very cute cute thermal skirt for winter weather. I would have worn this throughout the winter season however the design has a funny drop in the back at the pleat. It sticks out a bit and looks a little like a duck tail. I tried to get used to the look trying it on several times however it was too “ducky”.

Great color not enough stretch in waist.
Love the color but the fit is a bit of for me. I have a thick middle and thin hips, the elastic around the waist is not very stretchy, so it is a bit snug, the hips fit great. The teal color is beautiful and it is a cute skrt.
