Why We Like The Mountain Hardwear Ventano Hoodie

The Mountain Hardwear Ventano Hoodie is a lightweight, packable puffer jacket with the warmth, softness, and compressibility of natural down insulation but, surprise, utilizes synthetic ThermaCLOud AF insulation instead. This recycled insulation mimics the qualities of down insulation while providing much better moisture management and continuing to stay warm when wet. With easy packability, hood insulation, and three zippered pockets, this puffer hoodie is a must-have for our winter wardrobe.

First impressions- STOKED!

I am a backcountry ski guide. 5'8 150lbs. I usually struggle because I am between a medium and large (I am broad and have a big chest) I put on the medium and initially I loved the way the fit looked but was worried it may be small for actual activities, but then I started moving around in it and realized that the jacket moved so well with my body that I actually didn't need to size up. I have had 3 days in the field so far backcountry touring, snowmobiling and resort skiing. This is my new favorite for sure!
