Tasty and worth the money
I bought a 3-day emergency kit years ago. After a hurricane came through a few days ago, a significant portion of the area is it without power. With no way to keep perishables, I thought it was a good time to try this. I found the scrambled eggs with bacon surprisingly tasty. And I will restock it for my emergency kit.

Changed water to 6 oz.
I added 6 oz. water, stirred. Let sit 6 minutes, before stirring again. Let sit 5 more minutes. Scrambled Eggs with bacon were not soupy. Had a little bit of water which I stirred and ate with the eggs.

My opinion is Mountain House is the BEST.
We had an electric outage a year ago and opened some of the individual meal packages. Grandson who was 19 wanted to try the Beef stroganoff. HE LOVED IT and it is good. I buy Mountain House for my sons, so they have food at their house if they have an outage or other disaster. The Eggs and Bacon are good too. Freeze dried is just that and will not be exactly like fresh cooked. These are all most like fresh cooked.

Addition to my preps.
Was fortunate to find your Christmas sale and purchased the #10 can of Scrambled Eggs with bacon at an excellent price. This was added to my preps and I look forward to making breakfast burritos with them.

Adding a jet boil would be too heavy in the emergency bag for me. So, does the added water have to be boiled/heated, or can you add just regular bottled water, in case there's no access to power or a heat source?
