Awesome but not indestructable
This knife served me well for about 3 weeks out of a 30 day canoe trip. Cut veggies perfectly, wasn't rusting at all, sheath was easy to clean. We stored it down the front packet of a pack and tragically it snapped in half one day when the front of the pack was quite round. I wish it had just bent instead but I know that would be a lot to ask of gear this light, it would be great if there was a heavy duty version. I would recommend this chef knife but I would also recommend transporting it against something flat and rigid so yours doesn't meet the same untimely demise.

Buy this knife
Being a chef, I appreciate a simple quality product. This knife is better than most “high end” brands. You can hone an extremely sharp edge easily. Good ergonomics. Easy to clean and care for. The sheath is fantastic. The price is right.

Good knife, but rust after first week
Not a major issue, but the knife developed rust spots where it touched the sheath, likely due to some trapped moisture. Happened after first week long trip. Other than that, nice, lightweight and sharp. beats using a pocket knife to cut veggies.

Sharp, light and safely packable
We are SUV campers and serious wildland travelers. Before getting this knife, we had to carefully pack my wife's pricey and huge chef's knife. This is much easier to pack, is well suited to downsized camp cooking, and the plastic sheath protects both the quality blade and our fingers and hands, as we rummage through our gear box.

Light and practical
Why to take a cooking knife if you got a swiss knife with you? Because this one will be used exclusively for cooking, because it's in appropriate size and shape and because it's light and thin.

Sharp Knives:WOW!
I bought a few knives for my car camping set- up and I've been so happy with the ease of use and fidelity of the blades. They are unbelievably sharp and have remained sharp over the numerous days of outdoor adventures.

Incredibly light!
I went on a climbing trip with a friend and tried out his culinary knife. I could not believe how light it was yet it still handled like a legit chefs knife. I'll be purchasing my own soon as its great for anything from car camping to an overnighter in the backcountry.
