MSR Handheld Piezo Ignitor
The MSR Piezo Igniter reliably lights most canister stoves with push-button convenience. The ignition element is protected inside the igniter's tube, making it far more reliable than stove-mounted igniters and the tube also collects a small amount of gas, further aiding ignition. Not compatible with the Reactor and WindBurner stoves, or other radiant burners.

Waste of money. Don't buy

Bought this item for a multi-day backpacking trip through the Porcupine Mountains. It doesn't offer enough spark to light anything. If it actually worked it would be a cool item. It was small and lightweight but failed when needed.

Purchased new for use with a new windjammer stove - didn't work!
Turned on gas placed the ignition lighter and pressed twice nothing. Kept the gas on and keep pressing moving the lighter over the mesh surface. Nothing. No warm food for that night. Purchased a lighter as soon as I found civilisation.

Failed after 5 days and 10 uses
Bought this for some self supported hiking trips, but after 2 uses a day for 5 days it stopped working. Luckily my friend had a flint which worked perfectly. I can’t recommend this device as a reliable source of gas ignition.

Great for backpacking
I purchased this product in Korea. It has a very simple design and excellent performance. However, I initially thought I could use it in the reactor, but I was a little disappointed when it didn't work. Fortunately, my cousin had a burner, so I was able to light it. Nonetheless, I remain confident in MSR, which consistently produces great products.

Waste of materials
This ignitor worked about twenty times then failed. Lucky I had matches as a backup. I do not recommend this product.

Great for camping
This igniter works very well. I would totally recommend I got it for Christmas and lights my MSR universal stove like crazy, again I would totally recommend very easy to use.

Worked 3 times
I took this on a 3 day camping trip and it worked 3 times then nothing. Luckily my friend had a lighter. I have always like MSR products and purchased this to go with my trusty old pocket rocket. Disappointed.

Has stopped working
Worked a couple of times, and then stopped working. Do not trust this as your only source of fire\spark when camping etc.
