Great Cord Kit
I have used this cord kit to secure a rain tarp, set up a laundry line, as well as hang lights and other gear. At ~50ft it has been more than long enough to reach the two closest trees anyplace I have camped. The tensioners are simple enough to use.

Tons of extra rope
If you're a fan of MSR gear, picking up some of this extra rope is a nice add to your kit or to prepare before getting into the field. The rope is thicker than the guylines that come with some MSR tents, making it more versatile for different applications. Overall, happy with the purchase.

As advertised and no quality drop.
Used this this as an additional guy line and it is perfect!

Love the reflectivity - a tad skinnier would be ideal
Love the way the line lights up with headlamps - cutting out late night trip hazards. When my bootlace snapped on the trail, I turned to the utility cord. My only qualm was that my eyelets on my Asolo boots were just small enough to make running this line through a pain. I finally got it through but perhaps a couple MM skinnier would have been a breeze. Otherwise, great stuff to bring along for any outdoor endeavor.

Learn to tie knots :)
I use this cord to hang a food bag when on multi-day hikes. It's good because it's easy to find in the dark with a flashlight. It'd be better without the little ring things, I'm a knot guy so...it'd be nice to have the option of simply buying the cord.

Strong and lightweight.
Not much can go wrong with something this lightweight and strong. The camlock rings are a nice touch and functional too.

A well hung line
This line is perfect for hanging up wetsuits to dry around camp - simple setup, easy to adjust length and tension, and plenty of strength for all of our wet items. If properly hung betweens close branches on nearby trees, or other supports it can support wet suits for drying between sessions. Also ideal for stringing LED lights or mini lanterns at camp for better lighting. Mine only came with 3 tension rings, rather than the 4 in the images. Great utility cord to keep in your camping kit.

Bought initially for tarp-used for bear bag instead..
This is exceptional cordage; I would like to address the pro's and con's of it however. I did, as stated, buy the cordage for cutting my own tarp guy lines but ended up using it as a bear hanging kit with my own carbiner. I do NOT use the PCT method to hang as I think it could lead to an animal running through and grabbing the line and ending up with a handy snack. What any decent outdoorsman will tell you is you do need at least 40-50 feet of hang line to make room for mistakes etc. When I hang I simply roll so that if my line does get 'stuck' this cordage makes a simple job of unrolling and slipping back over the limb, throw again-get it right and do a simple hitch knot high enough and you're done. No bags full of rocks or other trees to tie against, any of that hooplahh. The one issue with this cordage I became frustrated with was the kinking in the line. It can become tedious to undue, especially when you are trying to throw your line for the fifth time. If you don't remove these kinks it can easily trip the cord up and you must never cut your rope...I couldn't believe how many grown men I watched cut their lines due to the PCT method and bad knots. Simple tension is all you need. My rope is still in good shape with no thread issues and still has all 49 feet attached due to its glide and proper hanging.

Fast and efficient, lightweight too
I own a tent that, while freestanding, benefits from having some extra guy lines attached to it. While I know how to tie a variety of camping related knots, if I'm tired, cold, hungry, and racing to set up camp before weather rolls in, this kit lets me secure my tent much more quickly. I've used these as independent guy lines, as well as to extend existing guy lines when I want to wrap around a tree that's a bit out of reach. One caveat: you're going to have to re-tie the knot used on the ring as it is too small and will slip out of the hole the cord passes through. Once you fix that, the ring does a great job at adding enough friction to keep the cord at a set length, a replacement for the often cursed trucker's hitch.

So Much Easier Than Knots!
I used to use the old boy scout taut line hitch to adjust the length of my tent lines. Now with these sliding rings and super-strong super-light line adjusting the tautness of the tent is a snap. They hold well and never slide when you don't want them to. The only issue for me was to remember which hole in the ring does what. Once done, it was easy to replicate. I use these for hanging my food, setting up my tent, stringing a line. Anywhere that I need to adjust the length.
