Excellent pack
I use this as my go to edc pack. Great features, and quality. The only thing I wish it had is a dedicated hydration bladder spot and tube routing.

Would buy again.
I'm a backpack hoarder and this is one of my favorite so far. The size is perfect for an airline carry on bag. It has plenty of organization pockets without being excessive. It stands up by itself - a small but pleasant surprise. I like the tri-zip design. It's tactical, but not obviously so. Small unobtrusive waist belt is perfect. I got the green color and it looks better in real life than the photos. Some webbing keepers would be a nice addition but I can add those myself.

Doesn’t disappoint
Active duty Marine, use this for field duty as well as daily carry. Excellent for both. Quality is superb.

Solid bag
I’ve only had this bag for a little over a month now but I’ve been very pleased with it so far. Seems to have quality stitching and well built, and I have a lot of bags from various companies to compare. Also, I know the bag says 27 liters but I swear it fits more stuff and is closer to a 30 or even 35 liter bag. There’s also lots of room to add pouches or shock cord to the sides, front, or bottom for additional storage. Overall I believe it was a good purchase.

What I was looking for.
Initial thoughts after several days of use is high quality material, seems to fit a lot more gear in it than you would think. The harness adjustment allows for one of the most comfortable fits I have found in a backpack.

Great reputation well deserved: only one criticism
An excellent bag that feels top quality. It is a little heavy, but that's probably the sacrifice for more durable materials. More than enough pockets. The rip-zip function is not as easy as it looks on videos- requires quite a bit of force. Maybe that's just because the bag is so new? The downside to the rip-zip function to open the top is that while it may be convenient to rip open the top in one go, to close it you need to pull 2 zips, not one. So while it makes it convenient for getting into the bag, that's at the expense of an extra step for closing it up again. Unless I'm doing something wrong. Still, this is the only constructive criticism I can think of.

One of my faves
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- L/XL
I've spent an insane amount of time with my first 2 DAP, and this is my second one. They're my go to for rucking light loads, and they'll handle 35-40lbs all day without issue. If I wanna push past 40lbs, I switch to a larger external frame pack. As a side note, I was an 11C early on in GWOT, so rucking stupid loads isn't something I'm new to, YMMV. Cheers

A Perfect Bomb Proof Pack
I bought this pack specifically for commuting to and from work to carry my laptop, tablet, and my other electronics (power banks, lights, cords), in addition to design tools and first aid items. I typically am in the weather for as many as twenty minutes per day - and in northwest Washington in the winter, that's a guarantee that it will be raining. Additionally, I sometimes have to “bushwack” past trees and blackberry vines as I weave around cars to get to my office. This pack is tough and water resistant enough that I have no fear of anything getting wet or damaged. The adjustable yoke and plastic frame make this extremely comfortable. The interior dump pockets are perfect for all those things that make a portable office work as I’m commuting on the ferry. The compression straps keep everything in place no matter what. I am 100 percent sold on the value of this pack. I recommend it to anyone needing a solid commuting backpack that could easily double for a quick weekend wilderness escape.

Bad to the bone
Great all around pack from hunting to day hikes. Built well as all mystery ranch products are. Don’t hesitate on this one.

Versatile and durable
I purchased this bag as a day pack for a longer backpacking trip. The pocket placement is well thought out and easy to access, especially with the Y-zipper. It still looked brand new upon arriving back home, resisting dirt, rain, snow and stains throughout my trip. I loved this pack so much I bought one for my husband as soon as we got back.
