Great vest for more to love athletes
Perfect fit for my husband who is fit but on the larger side. Chest measurement of 50” doesn’t allow for him to fit many vest, well practically none, but this one fits him perfectly with room to tighten for any loss or release if any gain. He used it on his 15 mile trail race the past weekend with no complaints. Highly recommend for larger athletes who are ready to get out there and do great things! Thank you for making a vest that goes outside the stereotypical runners to reach a larger audience!

Nice for a bigger man
Purchased a size too small and returned it and got another size, Nathan made the process very easy. Love the fit and numerous pockets for storage and customization. Would be nice if Nathan made a product that would air out the bladder so it would dry. Thanks.

Great Pack but sizing seems way off
So far I love the pack. Works great, allows to carry enough water and supplies for long runs when water is not available. The Sizing for Nathan packs is not consistent however. It took me three attempts to get the sizing right for Nathan packs. I first tried the VaporAir Light and ordered it in the L-XXL Size. When it came it was extremely small and no amount of adjusting could allow it to fit me. With that I switched and ordered the VaporAir 3.0 in the 1X-3X size as it was for people with bigger shoulders. This one was way too big and I couldn't get it synched down enough to not just fall off of me. I exchanged this for the L-XXL size and thankfully this time the L-XXL size fit. It actually is almost too big as I have all of the straps and adjustment snugged down as tight as they will go and it barely fits. I am not a small guy (5'11'' and 230 lbs) and haven't fit into a medium size since I was a Sophomore in high school.

Evolution....
Years ago I tried a non-nathan hydration vest... it was awful. That led me to 7 years of crazy long runs with handheld... I thought I'd give the VaporAir 3.0 a try and could not be more satisfied. The vest does not bounce, pocket placement is perfect, it has room to carry everything one needs for a long day out. I've even been known to grab it over my day pack for hiking.

Great vest
Love the features and all the pockets of the vest. The bladder is great and feels like it will last a long time. I would give it 5 stars but I think the sizing is a little off. You either have to order XS-M or L—XXL. I’m 6’0 180 lbs and the L-XXL still feels a little loose with everything all the way tightened down.

Great vest with a sizing issue
The choice of VaporAir 3.0 was straightforward after years of using the two previous generations for most of my long runs. The 3.0 is an excellent vest with some improvements over its predecessors, but you should pay special attention to the sizing chart. At 1.83m/83kg (6"/185lbs), I have always used the L-XXL, but with the 3.0, I surprisingly should have chosen the XS-M, sizes I haven't met since primary school.

Great for 20 mile self-supported runs
Great for ultra training and self-supported long runs between 20 - 25 miles without access to running water.

Good Fit and Ample pockets
I decided to replace my Nathan hydration vest that I purchased in 2013 with the VaporAir 3.0 7 liter vest and I have made several 18 plus mile training runs with it. It is much better than my old Nathan vest and worth the purchase. Fit, carrying capacity and color of course, are perfect for my trail running in Montana.

Nice pack even for non-runners!
I’m not a runner (any longer..too many miles too hard when younger, get injuries too easily now). I use this pack for mountain biking. My bike has barely enough room so one small water bottle. This pack allows me to carry plenty of fluids, has nice pockets for energy gels and bars or whatever food I need, plus the zippered cargo pocket on the back can hold my tools, frame pump and emergency clothing if the weather turns foul. My main reason for getting the pack was to be able to carry bear spray on my person. Living in Alaska means I can see a bear even when riding somewhat urban bike trails. I’ve always carried bear spray in a handlebar mounted feed bag, but it’s easy to get separated from my bike when startled by a seeming aggressive bear. The pockets on the shoulder straps easily hold a can of bear spray. It serves exactly the purpose for which I bought it.

Exceeded all expectations
Worth every cent. Had no issues with chaffing on my long runs and love all the storage it has.
