Have it. Love it!
On a recent series of travels that consumed 2 months and 3 countries, I used this bag constantly-in all of its forms. My only concern is figuring out how to repack it into that tiny pouch! It was perfect as a personal item on planes. Fit under the seat in front of me and opened wide for easy access to whatever I needed. I don’t think I’ll ever leave home without it!

Absolute recommended!
This is the best travel bag ever. In addition to the different ways of carrying it, IT FITS UNDERNEATH THE SEAT, so I can carry days worth of clothes/travel things and not need to use a big suitcase. Absolutely love it, will be buying one for my partner!

This bag wasn't very impressive when it arrived. It seemed so small, but when opened and unzipped it kept getting larger and larger. With all of the ways to carry, like a backpack, with a shoulder strap, or with handles it is very configurable.

An Early Opinion
Working in an outdoor store offers many opportunities to examine multiple bags. We carry models of most popular brands, but not this NEMO bag. We brought it in to compare it to the competitors models and there are many reasons why it is superior. The functionality, the expandable size, the lightweight material which appears durable but not overly stiff, the quality of the zipper and straps. I have asked my supervisor to have our reps look into this bag. Personally we are looking forward to real world testing during camping trips and carry-on flights. Great job NEMO for offering quality and value.

Absolute best bag!
I have been using the Nemo 30L duffle bag for several months now, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! I was initially torn between the 30L and 50L sizes, but the 30L has proven to be more than enough space for a four-day trip as well as staple for everyday use. The construction is top-notch, with durable materials that hold up beautifully under various conditions. It’s incredibly versatile, easily accommodating all my essentials for travel or daily outings. Whether I’m heading to a weekend getaway or just running errands, this bag has exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

Features are well thought out
Every time I use my 30L double Haul, I find a new feature for a new need. Starting with the tote style, you can throw anything in, and the space seems never ending. You can zip away everything, so nothing falls out in transit. This is my new everything bag. I use it on the weekends for overnight stays, I've used it as a carry on and personal item (it does fit under the seat comfortably, and I am 6'2) Throwing more expensive gear in the car in it, taken it on the beach, and always lives through every adventure. The tote straps are very durable, and I love the snaps on them to hold them together on your shoulder. The two inner and outer zip pockets are perfect for small items like keys and wallet. My favorite part is the durable, water resistant material on the outside. I've gotten it wet and set it down in mud and everything inside stays dry. I will definitely be getting a bigger size to easily throw all of my camping gear into.

Love this duffel
I bought the 30L convertible. It has become my go-to back for any kind of excursion. Easily packed it inside my larger luggage on a trip to Brazil and used it for 2 and 3 day trips while there. Even use it for my carry-on for business trips as I love the versatility and size. The quality and attention to detail are obvious. Love it so much have since bought the 55L and 100L to round out my collection.

Love this so much I bought it in more sizes
Gear junkie who's recently discovered the versatility of a duffle over a backpack. Originally bought the 30L. Which is perfect as a carry on for small trips (7 days but could squeeze another day or two depending on what you're doing) with a small daypack for snacks and entertainment. Sturdy material and zippers. While it doesn't stay open like other commenters noted, I haven't used it enough to determine if that's a design flaw or if it's from the bag being packed up in the smaller bag is comes with. I do love that the backpack straps stay attached to the bag so you don't have to worry about loosing them like other duffles. The zipper pocket on the front of the bag is hard to get things in and out of when the bag is full but I have that same experience with other duffle so again not a flaw but something of note.

Built like a tank!
I currently have two (30L/55L) that I purchased back in January 2024. I love them both but find myself using the 30L more often. The overall construction, fit and finish, and color options are very pleasing to me personally. When it comes to, "gear" I love anything that is modular, multi-purpose, or convenient. The Double Haul Convertibles check all of the boxes for my needs. I am the type of person that wants one of everything, so with that said...I'm sure I'll purchase the other two sizes and in the colors I don't have. So that is awesome. Keep up the amazing products Nemo! I'm a lifelong fan/customer!!!

Awesome duffle & tote bag
Nemo has a reputation for quality, and this bag does not disappoint! This duffle is awesome. Carrying it as a tote is surprisingly comfortable, even when fully stuffed to the brim. The stitching is solid, and the zippers are sturdy and glide smoothly, a detail that really enhances usability. When using it as a duffle, the straps distribute weight evenly, so they do not dig in and make the bag uncomfortable to wear, which is great for longer treks. There are several pockets, which is great for keeping your items separated including a zippered one which is great for keeping valuables safe. Overall great purchase.
