Why We Like The NEMO Double Haul Convertible Duffel 70L Bag
Doubling up our packing options, the NEMO Double Haul Convertible Duffel 70L Bag converts from a duffel to a tote simply by unhooking the side buckles. The bag features a polyurethane coated nylon fabric that's highly abrasion resistant, moisture resistant, and stain resistant, and it's made from eco-certified recycled materials to reduce our environmental impact. In duffel mode, we can easily carry our gear to and from the beach, campsite, or trailhead using the padded shoulder straps or carrying handles. In tote mode, stiffened trusses keep the bag wide open for easy access to the interior while also adding 50% more storage capacity. We also like the matching carrying case, which doubles as a packing cube for more organized packing.

Seriously Fantastic
After buying and using one, I've slowly transitioned all of my traveling and personal bags to these. I've gotten all the sizes, and they've made it impossible to return to a standard duffle bag. I've used the 100L for international travel and the 55L/70L for domestic travel. I think the only downside I've found is the 100L gets a little ridiculous when fully loaded weight-wise, but that's not Nemo's fault. If you're trying to walk a couple miles from say a bus stop/train depot to where you're going, it's pretty freaking heavy to be comfortable with the included shoulder straps. All the other liter sizes have been perfectly fine for longer treks. But the ability to open these up, jam all your gear and clothes inside and then zip it up and buckle it down, it's awesome. I've gotten several friends into them now as well. Another awesome Nemo product.

Awesome bag!
Just returned from a 3 month trip through Patagonia with two Double Haul duffels and they were awesome! Best duffels I’ve used yet. They’re roomy (I have the 70L and 100L), easy to pack, and comfortable to carry.

Perfect for Europe
Perfect for Europe or travels that would ruin a suitcase with wheels. Found myself destroying my nice roller suitcases so needed something that was large enough to replace my checked luggage but still comfortable to lug around on trains and buses- I found my answer with this!

Versatile Bag
Excellent all around bag for travel. Use it for work and the weekends. Can store camping gear, boots, shoes, everything. Durable so far, straps and zippers are all solid. Nemo did it right.

Versatile
Holds all the gear you could need for a weeks long trip or convert to smaller size for a quick weekend trip. High quality and durable. Also love that it doesn’t attract dog hair like my canvas bag

70 L Double Haul
I bought one of these awesome bags for a 7 day fishing trip to Mammoth and a 7 day trip deep into the Golden Trout Wilderness to catch Golden Trout and my bag was carried by mule. It easily swallowed everything with room to spare and showed no signs of wear. Upon returning I bought 2 more for future trips and adventures. Highly recommend this bag!

Fantastic innovative design
I use this bag daily to carry stuff to work and I’m glad it can carry a lot of a little based on my needs, it feels a bit heavy and overbuilt but hopefully that makes it last. The huge opening makes it easy to just dump stuff in there and go on with my day

It's my everything bag!
Car camping? Load it all in. I particularly enjoy finding "walk-in" tent sites that allow a bit more privacy and often have better views, so having something that can carry all my stuff to the site in one trip to be incredibly helpful (stargazer chair, anyone?) It's also great after backpacking to be able to open up my sleeping bag and tent in the car, while still keeping them contained. The tote straps really are a game changer. I don't regret selling my Black Hole!

Great for a 2-week Hawaii Trek
I purchased this bag to use as a gear bag for a 2-week long camping trip this summer. we were going to be moving multiple times to different car-camping camp grounds so I didn't need a lightweight setup, but needed a bag large enough to pack all of my camping gear from California to Hawaii and that could survive being checked-in for the flight. This bag easily fit all my gear (sleep system, clothing, hiking gear etc.) with room to spare. It survived multiple commercial flights and the heat, humidity and rain of Hawaii all while keeping my gear dry. While not fully waterproof from my experience, it survived an hour-long deluge while we were driving in a pick-up truck in Hawaii between campgrounds with minimal water intrusion into the bag (only top items near the zipper were a bit damp). This bag will be my go-to travel bag when I need a little more space. The bag was comfortable to carry and was easier to manage at the airport check in than my backpacking pack. Highly recommend if you need a larger pack.

My Favorite Adventure Bag
I recently purchased the Double Haul Convertible Duffel 70L to compliment the 30L and 55L duffels I've used for more than a year. The bag exceptionally well designed and is exceedingly durable and useful for packing all the essentials for a weekend or week-long getaway to the woods or fishing trip to the islands. I expect this bag to serve its purpose for many years to come.
