Why We Like The NEMO Forte Endless Promise Sleeping Bag
The Forte Endless Promise Sleeping Bag is a responsibly made upgrade to one of NEMO's most popular sleeping bags. This cozy resting space provides the same comfort as the original, with some earth-friendly updates. The Classic Spoon shape offers the heat retention of a mummy with a roomier knee zone for a less-constricting feel. Thermo Gill vents feature a new multi-stage zipper to fine-tune airflow and dial in the perfect temperature. And the Blanket Fold draft collar provides the familiar feeling of a blanket back home, blocking cold air while tucked in or releasing heat when folded down. All this, plus a fully recyclable design, makes this a choice sleeping bag.
As part of their earth-driven initiatives, NEMO's Endless Promise lineup uses mono-polymer designs, making recycling these products easy and achievable. Post-consumer recycled Zerofiber synthetic insulation compresses well and provides warmth in wet and dry conditions, and the recycled polyester shell and liner are soft, lightweight, and breathable.

Pretty Good For bigger guys
I'm 6ft 250lbs with very broad shoulders. I decided to go with the long since the shoulder circumference was 3" bigger than the regular; if my shoulders weren't so broad I'd have gotten the regular.. Even though I've got a bit of extra room in the toe box my feet weren't too cold when I had it in 31F/-1C weather. That said, it was still a little bit tight in the shoulders. The neck collar was fantastic, but the zipper baffle did have a few gaps around my shoulders that let some cool air in around my shoulders. I added the blaze bag liner and that helped a lot. The zipper did snag a couple times but was easy to unsnag. I also found the hood to be a little oversized and difficult to cinch down, but I think that's more of a user error issue I'll work out with time. The straps on my compression sack popped off at the stitches, but customer services was great with replacing it - prompt response with zero hastle. I'd definitely recommend this for broader folks and side sleepers. The only thing stopping it from being an excellent bag is the zipper snagging which happens a little too often to be dismissed. Otherwise, I love it.

Great Bag......Just TOO TIGHT!!
Overall, sleeping bag is very comfortable material. I camped 3 nights straight, when the weather was 85/60. Going to bed at night was boarderline uncomfortable, but, this bag material really made it feel much better. The reason it is 3star.....Im an average size Man, 5'9" - 210lbs. I am a side sleeper, and toss and turn. This sleeping bag was very tight on my body. There was hardly no extra room inside, even to move my arms to a different position. I felt pinned down inside it, fully zipped. Maybe this is the design to keep the material close to the body, so the body heat stays in....not sure, but it was uncomfortable at times.

Great bag to upgrade to from a basic bag.
Got this bag for my husband at the same time I ordered the women's Forte bag. He is 6' and the regular was just long enough. He prefers to not have too much extra length by his feet. This bag kept him warm in low 40 degree weather.

Perfect bag for bigger guys!
I am 6’ 215lbs. I just spent 10 days camping out west in Montana with this bag. Several days had temps drop into the mid to low 40s. I actually stayed nice and cozy in this bag. Plenty of room and it packed up tight.

Bad Front Zipper
I just received my sleeping bag yesterday and the zipper on one of the thermogills was already jammed stuck no matter how much I pulled it on either side.

Toasty and TALL
Recently took this up to spring in damp 30 degree temps and was so warm! Too warm even (but thank goodness for the vents!). I love this bag and all it has to offer. I am 6'4" and finding a bag that I can fit in with extra room has always been a challenge but this one is great. I love nemo and this bag!!

Perfect balance between mummy and rectangle
I just spent 10 nights in Oregon with this bag. Coldest night was low 30s, most nights were low 40s. I wore long johns, sweatshirt and socks to sleep in. I was very comfortable each night. Loved the ‘blanket’ feature that kept cold air out of the top. The hood was a good size. But the thing that won me over was the hybrid shape. It was just enough room that I could sleep on my side and tuck my knees up, but not so much room that the bag was huge and because cold because of it. Would definitely recommend.

Will the Men's Forte 35 zip with a Woman's NEMO Rhapsody 30? My wife already owns one and I'm looking for a warmer weather bag that zips with hers.

My girth is 58". Will I be comfortable in the Forte 20degree Long? It says 66" girth... Is the 66" the actual inside circumference of the shoulders, or is it big enough for a man with a 66" girth to be comfortable?
