Best in class
I received my pad and immediately took it for a survival trip into the snowy mountains. I was shocked by how comfortable and warm the pad was. You could feel your heat reflect off it back up to you. Over the course of the nights it performed perfectly and has now become my go to pad for extreme conditions training and trips. Works well in -25 degree weather.

Great in -22°C plus Temp
Did a quick camp this weekend Temps went below -22°C used this with a tarp underneath and couldn't feel the cold from the snow or any lumps and bumps from the snow or what was beneath it. It is super comfy! If the bottom of the pad got wet I didn't notice. I like the fact that you are not having to blow it with your breath so that the inside freezes.

So comfortable and keep you warm
This super pad keeps me warm at night! The insulation is no joke. I am a mountain guide and sleep a lot on snow! The best pad outdoor for sure

Great pad
Although I haven’t tested the full R8+ yet , I’m impressed with the size and weight of this pad. It’s comfortable and quiet and will let me reduce my winter kit to a single pad

Amazed by how small this pad packs
Such a game changer compared with the pads I used in the past for winter camping. I'm amazed on how small it packs and super happy with how warm it keeps me. also its really quiet compared to a lot of pads. Super stoked on this item and got some for my whole family

A good pad, but not as warm as expected
When first learning of the Tensor Extreme I was super excited, as I love my warm weather Tensor pad. Having used a ThermaRest XTherm for my cold weather excursions, I was looking forward to a quieter option. However, after having both pads down to -10°, I hate to say I slept much warmer with the XTherm, and will revert back to it when going out in extreme cold conditions in the future. Aside from the cold effect, I find the pad to be very lightweight and extremely quiet. And like usual, Nemo did a great job of making a well thought out piece of gear.

Good pad, but not as warm as expected
Having used a ThermaRest XTherm in the past I was excited for the chance to get a warm sleeping pad that was much quieter (based on what I’ve experienced from the warm weather Tensor pad). While it is far less noisy, I find the XTherm far warmer. Having had both pads down to -10°F, I hate to say I slept much warmer with the XTherm, and will likely revert back to it when the temps drop to extreme lows. Other than the cold effect, the pad is well designed, lightweight, and extremely quiet.

Legit cold weather sleeping pad
This I can happily say is extremely worth the money and I may just go ahead and buy another as soon as the other shapes/lengths come back instock! So worth the price point becuase of the weight-to-benefit factor!

Is the tensor alpine ultralight the same pad as the longbow alpine offered at First Lite? Other than the color they appear to be the same.

I'm about 5'10. Should I go for the long version? It looks like I'll fit the regular mummy, but it may be a bit close.

I usually camp during winter without a tent. Is the material tough enough to withstand sleeping with fir branches on the ground or should I put the mat on the snow directly?

Does the outer fabric keep you from sliding if you are tented on a slight incline?

For the Alpine Tensor model, are there any plans to release a regular wide size?

Are there any plans to make mummy shaped versions of the pads in the Tensor lineup (both Alpine and/or Tensor Insulated)? Without the mummy shape, I can't nest 2 pads in my tent.

I was wondering if you will change anything on the Design or the Material? The little Store here in Germany told me that the mat is sold out for the year and that he can order agian in December.

Hi! Is Nemo expecting to make a Wide/Regular in this sleeping pad soon? I want the wide one, but it's too long for my tent!
