Almost perfect.
All in all, these are amazing hiking shoes for anyone with extra wide feet. The comfort level is out of this world and there is almost no impact resistance when I take a step. My stride feels more like I'm gliding. The only complaint I have is that the toe box of this shoe is incredibly narrow, and it does cause my toes to rub against each other if I wear thick socks. A slightly wider toe and these would easily be the best hiking shoe on the market for people with 4E-wide feet.

Freshfoam Herrio mid goretex
Excellent comfort on the foot bed. Standard fit is a little narrow . Ive walked around Dublin for 2 days with no problem at all

Great shoes
I’ve worn NB since the 1980s. I walk 5-6 miles a day and they hold up nicely.

I’ve never given 5 stars to a shoe review.
Very nearly the perfect shoe. I am a huge fan of New Balance Fresh Foam because of the incredible comfort they provide. (This is my 7th pair.) The mid ankle support and lug Vibram soles make them ideal for walking and hiking in general. They have enough leather to hopefully make them durable. The Gore-Tex water proofing is the cherry on top. Believe it or not, they may well replace my golf shoes! So far, they worked very well at the driving range. We shall see! And they come in other colors.

Excellent Shoe!
Excellent Shoe with the rare combination of Tread, Mid Cut, Gore Tex and most importantly available in wide width ( crucial) . Hard to find that combo in a lightweight shoe.

Too rigid
Shoes look cool, I thought because they have the fresh foam they would be comfortable. They are very rigid and uncomfortable. I got the extra wide and they still feel narrow also. Wouldn’t recommend.

These boots will keep you waking through winter
Looking for a good waking shoe for late fall through winter, that has good traction and cushioning. These boots meet the challenge. Two thumbs up great boots
