Almost perfect, but build quality may be suspect
This is the second pair of these I've had. Grip is great, padding is great, but the soles started coming away on the first pair after 30 miles, so I'm a little concerned with build quality

Best I've had
I'm a tour guide, I walk 26k steps a day, 5 days a week. Not only that, I'm 56 years old, had a hip replacement and quite wide feet.And I live in Scotland, loads of rain.. These shoes so far have been the best. I've had previous versions, these are great though got regular as well as the GTX version for when it rains..

Not as good as previous versions
Quite disappointed with the cushion provided. Finding them to be very firm unlike previous versions I have had.

Perfect running shoe
Fresh Foam Hierro is my all time favourite running shoe. With a need for stability shoes to accomodate my wide feet, New Balance is always my go to when it comes to running shoes. I used to run exclusively in 680s but made the switch to Hierro last year. It was the best decision. They are super supportive with the Vibram shock absorption and even after 15kms of running each week for the past year - they've still held up well - they last so long and are super durable. Hope the Hierro will always be a mainstay because this will be my go to running shoes from now on.

Great Purchase
Really comfy, stylish trainers. I’ve worn them in the park, to a gig, and to work. Have been surprised how many people have complimented me on these shoes.

Weight loss upgrade
Absolutely love these trainers. Have had previous iterations of the Hierros and these have retained all of the great features of their predecessors but with transformational weight loss. Great shoe for running on trials and road alike and very stylish too.

Great shoes, would reccomend.
the first time i wore these shoes I walked 250 miles along the west coast of Scotland in them. I've since done countless runs in them and worn them regularly. They are impressively durable and I've been tracking down the hard to find wide fit versions to have a pair or two ready for when these die because I love them so much.

Wide fit, still too narrow
Narrow fitting, even in wide fit! Look good, but not much good if they arent comfortable.
