Their proprietary Fresh Foam X midsoles absorb shock when we run over rocks and roots while providing plenty of energy return, and the Vibram Megagrip rubber gives us gobs of grip on all kinds of terrain, wet or dry. Compared to the V7, the updated Hierro V8 features improved cushioning, a more stable fit, and more protection.

Best Trail Shoes
Great shoes to hit the trails! For loose sand and hitting some steep inclines, unbelievable grip, and coming down some steep trails with loose sand and dirt, never did I slip, and after 5 miles, feet and knees felt awesome!

Too Big
The shoes are 1/2 size too big, fit sloppy, I was care full in selecting the shoes. But they still are too big. I really wish I can exchange them

American made usa
These were comfortable. The second I put them on locked with them. 5. Mi first day absolutely and no problems. Very comfortable angled and correct for hiking. Beautiful American shoe

Quality doesn't match price
These are comfy but they don't hold up like the previous versions at all. My v7s have been through hell. These v8s started to dismantle after about 60 days. Cheap Materials.

Nice trail shoe
Really nice. Fit is consistent with the same size in other models. Nice plush landing. So far, seems to have enough grip. Pretty good trail shoe

n.b. Hierra vibram soles.
this shoe saved my feet. Tried all others didn't work, Im close to 80 with various foot problems. Grateful for this style.

Very comfortable
I have always liked newbalance shoes as I need extra wide and the Newbalance Extra wide fits better than any other brand Wxtra wide. Also this is the first time I bought shoes online without trying and I was pleasantly surprised. This shoes is very comfortable, when walking it has a spongy feeling at the heel providing ample cushioning. It has vibram soles. The shoe looks trendy too with all black and the Newbalance N symbol.
