Missed the mark on the redesign
I've purchased the Minimus Trail for 10+ years and this is the last pair. The softer, more flexible material in the heal doesn't keep the heal tightly wrapped. The shoe is also much less stable laterally with the new footbed as there's significantly more cushion in the shoe than prior versions.

Wishing the all black minimus would return
This model is well made, light, and (especially with the EE width available) a very comfortable fit - but I much preferred the construction and look of the now apparently discontinued all black model - my grandkids can’t stop laughing at the cloven hoof look of the toe - “where are your antlers, gramps?”

Not minimalist
Very disappointed, as a fan of the original minimus, i was hoping that there were just a styling update, there is no minimalistic anything in this model, too much cushioning, too stiff, too tight despite getting the "wide" fit. Very uncomfortable....

Great product.
Excellent shoe. Fantastic grip and very comfortable. Only downside is the lack of support around the ankle as the material is quite soft. The sole is very soft and the shoe is extremely light.

Another NB triumph!! 10/10
Lightweight, ultimate grip and comfort. Ideal for indoor circuits, outdoor running and most other traction based sports. Another NB triumph.

Not suitable for true minimalist runners.
I've been a minimalist runner for the last 15 years. Largely been using Vibram FFs but in the last 5-7 years I had the older pair of Mininus which was a zero drop. This new pair doesn't even come close to my expectations. The main flaw is that the sole fans out larger than your feet by a lot and it reduces stability. I would return it if I could. But I guess it meets normal standards or it's a good transition shoe to minimalist running.

Great Shoe
A fantastic shoe from a fantastic man! Brody Hazelwood secured me a pair, how fortunate I was, and they are phenomenal! I loooooove the shoe and the fit. Althought it is not the Minimus of old, it still has many great attributes! I will certainly buy another pair!

Minimus Trail - fantastic
I hope these trainers last a long time, incredibly comfortable. By far the best trainers I've had.

Heel Pain Relief
The best tennis shoes for those who have Haglund deformity, a condition where a bony bump forms on the back of the heel bone (calcaneus), where the Achilles tendon attaches. Tried many other shoe models from New Balance and other orthopedic recommended brands. The Minimus Trail was the only one that provided me relief from heel pain while allowing me to go back to trail running. The very soft heel material really offer minimum pressure on that area - does not rub on the heel/Achilles tendon. I literally bought three pairs, two 8 wide for trail running and one 8.5 wide for day to day use. I'm 5'9, 159 lbs.
