Why We Like The New Balance Minimus Trail Running Shoe
Bringing us closer to the trail, New Balance's Minimus Trail Running Shoe enhances our proprioception and agility on technical terrain. The minimal midsole cushioning springs every ounce of energy back into our transitions as it offers a touch of protection from the rocks and roots we bound over, and the multi-directional lugs reduce energy-leaking slips and slides while we're striding up and down steeps.

Cute but outdoor hiking only
They kind of hurt the feet. Not meant for indoor walking. Super cute though

Unique shoe makes u run wild
Love the design! And colors! It is minimal foot padding and i am trying to add a bit more. You can feel the treds thru the shoe.

Great shoes!
Very comfortable. Still stretching out to accommodate bunions. Then will be excellent.

Great day off shoe
Nice comfortable kick around shoes .not much support I could not wear them to work in all day since I’m on my feet all day (hairstylist) but easy to get on and I have the bright purple pair I bought 4pairs of new balance that day and they all have different support ,I’ll definitely be staying with new balance for awhile. Only 4 stars since I feel they could have more arch support

Miss the old Minimus Trail
Although these Minimus Trail shoes are better than all the "Marshmallow" soled shoes being sold now,I miss the old trail shoes. I bought 5 pairs and have worn the soles off them, and I was hoping these would be the same. I am not a fan of the huge heel sole sticking out the back, but I sort of like the stretchy heel fabric. The Footbed itself is comfortable and they lace up nicely.

Not the traditional Minimus
Like others, I rushed out to buy this new Minimus, thinking it was similar to the old version (of which I've had over ten pairs and loved). These fit wider and feel much cheaper than the old ones. The biggest disappointment is that they have WAY too much sole to be considered a minimalist shoe and don't allow any feel for the ground. Hoping NB brings back the older style.

Please bring back the previous Minimus Trail(s)
I have a similar sentiment to a lot of the other reviews - I was so excited to see that New Balance brought back the minimus trail and rushed to order one. It's a decent show in its own right but it's not the minimus trail. The sole is much too reinforced. Hopefully the next iteration is closer to the last because it was the best shoe I've ever had. Also, the lip on the heal is odd. I do appreciate having a mostly black color option.
