Great so far
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
As others have said, I did size down a half size and the fit was then perfect (10.5 to 10). There is an elastic 'bridge' that goes over the middle of your foot and really holds your foot in position, this might be strange just because it is different. I think it's a clever design. Another quirk is there's not a removable insert. The shoe is very light, the stability and grip are great, and it looks slick. I'm going to use these as an all-rounder for casual use (they do look good), trail running, day hikes, and travel. It's hard to find high performance trail running options that can count as a sharp looking pair of black trainers / everyday shoes. The tongue assembly is rather thin, which I'm appreciating and the glued / heat sealed portions have are large enough they should be quite robust, there's no small delicate glued on pieces and you get a full rigid eyelet for the top of the laces. There is a heel reinforcement, but overall the upper is not super stiff. The build quality seems very efficient and robust. Would recommend.
