Why We Like The Norrona Femund Flex1 Pant
The Norrona Femund Flex1 Pant is a high-performance piece for our mountain pursuits. The softshell fabric features an eco-certified, synthetic-stretch blend that maximizes breathability and our freedom of movement, and it adds mesh-lined thigh vents to help us dump heat and moisture on steep ascents when we're burning serious calories. We also like the athletic fit, which we can fine-tune with several points of adjustment, including a Custom-fit waist system, bottom hem tightening, a gaiter hook, and ankle zippers that let get the right fit around our hiking shoes or trekking boots as we bag some peaks and tackle technical tracks.

- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Size Bought:
- XS, S
Bought these as a gift for my wife (5'6" 120lbs). We tried both XS and S. The waist and seat of the S was too big on her. So much so, that the slack could not be taken up by the adjustable waist band. The waist and seat on the XS was much better, but she did not like how they are normal to low cut on the waist. She much prefers a high waist on outdoor pants. Also, while the waist fit on the XS, the thighs on got too tight for fleece leggings underneath. She would have kept them if they were more of a high rise cut on the waist. Besides the points about fit preference above, they felt like they were of superior quality to be expected of Norrona. She's really disappointed that they didn't work out.
