Norrona and are like this ?? maybe it?s my Norse heritage but nothing fits better than norrona products for me. Best riding shorts I own. I am a 32? waist and ordered medium. They fit fantastically with great adjustability due to the Velcro waist bands. My Endura knee pads fit well under and I can also layer my wind tights or regular johns under there no problems. The fabric provides a freedom of movement yet doesn?t flap around and snap on fast descents because of the tailored fit. The fabric also is water repellent and mud cleans off pretty easily. A big plus is that they look radical, the pockets are nice but I usually don?t ride with things in there, I have bike bags for that. the thigh vents aren?t super effective because of the fabric that is behind the zipper, I may just cut out the fabric if it becomes an issue next summer. All in all super impressive shorts, thanks Norrona and Backcountry!! ?? ?? white heart

Sizing = I find all Norrona sizes to be a bit small by American standards. I am a large in everything American, but need and XL for tops and bottoms from Norrona. We are just not built like the Norse. And they run down past my knee cap. A little long for my preference but can live lwith it. Performance: They work well for climbing and riding. I like the right thigh pocket for my phone. They have adjustable waist straps so when I lose holiday weight, they can still fit. The fly zipper is really strong and tough. The pocket zippers are ok. The front thigh ventilation zippers really are more for decoration because they don't open much and still have fabric that does not circulate that well. Look = These look awesome. There are equivalent premium shorts from other manufacturers. But I buy Norrona products because they look super cool and no one else has them. For that exclusivity, I am willing to pay a premium.
