Why We Like The Lofoten GORE-TEX Pro Plus Pant

Norrona's ski clothing always impresses us, but the Lofoten GORE-TEX Pro Plus Pant is Norrona's most durable, functional ski pant for days spent freeriding big mountains in the resort, out of bounds, off a skintrack, and even out of a helicopter. The GORE-TEX Pro 3-layer membrane provides rugged waterproofing, and Norrona bonded that to 200D fabric for outstanding durability as well as protection from waist-high pow.

No idea as they arrived too late....

I bought these but they arrived too late and I am back in Canada. I'll assess and see how they fit and feel in late March or early April on my return.

The Perfect Snowpant

These Lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Plus pants are the best snow pants on the market. They have pockets in all the right places, vents strategically placed, and a removable bib. They have an adjustable waist, adjustable cuff closer for boots/ski boots. They are definitely worth the money.

Funky Sizing

Size Bought:: XL
Weight:: 225

I normally wear XL, but XL in these pants was far too small. I returned them. I'm not even sure if XXL would have been the right size for me.

Worth It

I've been using the Norrona Gore-Tex Pro pant for several seasons so when I saw these I wondered, could they really be that much better? Bottom line, yes. The differences are subtle but they add up in the end to an even more superior product. The mesh lined zippered crotch vents are an absolute godsend on the skin track. I have also found an improved articulation in the legs. They retain the bombproof durability of the original, as well as cannot be beat waterproofness. You will not get wet. These pants will keep you spinning laps when the skiing is at it's best. These are a "plus" pant.
