The Women's Lofoten Shell is Norrona's most versatile freeride jacket for powder hounds. This has been a great jacket for me. I got the multi color jacket to match the pants and get loads of compliments. It's light weight but waterproof. I think it fits true to size and I typically wear a light puffy and baselayer under it since it's not insulated.

long slim fit - bright colors

I ordered this in both a medium and a large. I'm generally a medium, 5-5 130lbs. I ended up sending them back as at this price I wanted to love the jacket. I found the medium tight with just a hoodie underneath. It measured 17" across the chest. The large fit more comfortably, however it was quite long on me. It came down mid thigh. It just didn't look great. The multi color is bright- great if you ski in low vis conditions. The orange though looked like I was wearing a cheap life preserver. The jacket did seem to have all the features one would want in a technical shell. The large measured about 18.25" across the chest. It was a straight fit, so if you have curves it may be a bit snug in the hips.

Just received this jacket and I love it. I did size up from a medium to large for a slightly looser fit and ability for more layers. It looks great, keeps me warm, and has what you need. Maybe the only downside is no lower side pockets but when you have a backpack on you don?t go in there as much anyways. One of my favorite parts would be the thumb hole feature.
