The way you move in the water will be freakish when you've got the lightweight performance of the O'Neill Hyperfreak 3/2+mm Chest-Zip Full Wetsuit on your side. Designed for effective insulation without the weight, this performance suit adds a half millimeter of thickness up from O'Neill's 3/2mm Hyperfreak Comp wetsuit to give you a little extra insulation for sessions that are a tad bit colder. It's made using O'Neill's trusted Technobutter 3 neoprene, which offers tons of stretch, effective insulation, and hydrophobic water-shedding performance. It also utilizes a hybrid design that places the even lighter and stretchier Technobutter 3X neoprene in the arms and shoulders to enhance your movement where you need it most. Not that you'll need too much extra movement in the arms—after all you've already got Seamless Paddle Zones under the arms to help enhance movement and decrease rashing during paddling, while the ultralight and stretchy TB3X neoprene seam tape ensures that you won't be limited or held back at all. You've got all that plus the comfortable F.U.Z.E (Front Upper Zip Entry) system that employs a free-floating zipper panel and anti-flush barrier to keep you feeling loose, light, and dry as you rip around in the surf.

Very comfortable and easy on/off

I've been wearing surf wetsuits since the 1970s and this is the most comfortable one I've ever worn. The neoprene is extremely soft and flexible, making it easier to paddle and pop up. The suit is also easy to get into and out of, even with frozen fingers. There is a slight tradeoff in warmth, so if your body runs cold I would consider getting the Hyperfreak Fire or moving up to the 4/3. Regarding fit, I'm 5'7" and 140 pounds, and the MS is a good fit. The torso on these suits is slightly longer than most other brands, which is good for me.

I bought this wetsuit for my husband after I used one myself. The material is comfortable and flexible which means it doesn’t feel quite as restrictive as other long wetsuits we’ve used.
