Love Them
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I originally purchased a 9 they were very tight in the top of the foot with any sock. Traded for a 9.5 and could not be happier. The waterproofing will remain to be seen. Hoping for the beat. Cannot wait for this high Colorado Mountain winter.

I was shopping for boots that would work well for snowshoeing. These Oboz boots and the Keen Revel IV High Polar Boot were the finalists. I have narrow feet, but I also have a bunion on my right foot. The Oboz fit like a glove, maybe a little tight (I tried them on with thick socks, same size as the Keens), but the toe box wasn't as roomy as the Keens. I even stood/walked around with the Keens on one foot, the Oboz on the other for a couple hours to test after my feet swelled a little. Ultimately decided to stick with the Keens for bunion insurance. :)

I have worn Oboz hiking boots for years. This is my first pair of winter ones. I have not had the chance to wear them in snow yet so will update this review when I do. I plan on wearing them to snow shoe this year. I have never been disappointed with Oboz and their comfort is why I purchased the winter insulated dry boot. I war a thicker sock so buy size 9. I usually wear an 8 but an 8.5 in running shoes.
