Why We Like The Sypes Low Leather B-DRY Hiking Shoe
We lace up the Sypes Low Leather B-DRY Hiking Shoe to take us from summit to post-trek sips. The hardwearing leather and mesh aren't fazed by overreaching brush, while the breathable waterproofing keeps us dry, not swampy. The sneaker style is at home both on the trail and resting on a bar foot rail.

Love the Look and Feel!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 8
Have not yet put them through a true test in rain or snow. The fit is great. I have medium to low-ish profile feet and the width is fine with both a thiner and medium-thick sock. I wear a 7.5 - 8 and the 8 is perfect, true to size. They are a bit more shoe and beefier than I wanted, but I think that will pay off in warmth, wear, and weather protection,

I’d been looking for a pair of lightweight, waterproof shoes for dog walking and hiking. I’m a fan of Oboz, (I own 2 other pairs) and these don’t disappoint! Comfortable, stable, stylish, and most of all, dry feet!!

This is my 4th pair of the Oboz Sypes Low Leather B-Dry. No need to break in, they are comfortable from day 1. I also own a pair of Oboz Sypes ankle and they are also wonderful. They last long for me.

Great Hiking Shoes

This is my 4th pair of Oboz but my first pair of hiking shoes (I've always worn hiking boots). The shoes are just what I'd hope for from Oboz. Great fit, great quality, and close to zero "breaking-in time". I love my Oboz and Back Country is a terrific place to shop.

Nice shoe but runs very small!!!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- 8.5
I bought these two months ago and wore them on a hiking trip recently. They felt comfortable when I first put them on but by the end of the day my toes were bumping the top of the shoe. I have narrow to medium feet and usually wear size 8 but in a hiking shoe I go to an 8.5. These were 8.5 I should have bought them in a 9. Worn so can’t return them so am going to donate them. I wasted $75.

Very small and narrow
- Size Bought:
- 9
- Height:
- 5' 6"
- Weight:
- 132
I wish these shoes came in a size wide, because they are so narrow and small that I feel like I'd need to go up at least 2 sizes from my regular size. Sadly I'll have to return. They seems like they'd be sturdy and comfortable and I like the color.

I had originally bought some Keens but returned those because they fell off my heel. These Oboz fit snuggly. I sized up a half a size and that was the right decision. They only took a day or two to break in and I'm confident that they'll be great on the trail and in the town.

Great stiff soles
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 8.5
I do not wear this shoe hiking but on concrete floor at work all day. Replacing an ancient sawtooth the soles are stiffer and my feet are happier at the end of the day. They got more comfortable after breaking in. One star removed because they do rub on the side of one foot but a bit of electrical tape fixes it.
