Do not accidentally walk in a puddle otherwise you’ll have a squeaky shoe. The worst part is my work place has all linoleum floors and I work overnight shifts. my patients are trying to sleep and all you hear is me squeaky shoes. I’ve tried everything and still can’t get rid of it. And of course I’m out of the 30 day window. So please read the review and don’t throw $100 out the window.

Comfortable, and an all around good runner. But if you happen to walk through lawn with morning dew, for example, expect to squeak with every step for at least the rest of the day. I would not get this shoe wet on a run. Disappointed that I did not buy direct from On Running - I could’ve done a warranty claim.

The cushion and midsole are super comfy, and the rocker likes to keep things moving forward. I would say that the fit is true to size, with plenty of room in the toe box for the toes to spread out a little bit. I tested this shoe out on a pretty muddy and slush covered trail (which seems about the only option currently). The lugs on the shoe aren’t super deep so, I was sliding around a decent amount. The shoe itself seemed to drain water pretty well since I didn’t notice any squishing sounds coming from each step after running through the puddles. Due to the lack of depth in the lugs, I would categorize this as mostly a door to trail shoe or light single track. Another small problem I would point out is the tongue does not come up super high compared to most other trail runners I have. While I usually don’t use the last lace hole for a lace lock system, I could see how using the upper eyelet could cause problems with the shorter tongue. Overall, I really look forward to putting more miles in this cushioned shoe once it dries out more!
