Why We Like The Carbon Handlebar
Even though 35mm handlebars have become pervasive in the mountain bike world, we find they can feel too harsh during a full day of riding rough trails. OneUp claims to have solved this problem with their unique flattened oval shape that offers just the right amount of vertical compliance, while at the same time making your bike's steering feel more responsive.

one up for the win
I took off the stock Anvl alloy bars on my Transition Scout and plopped these carbon bars on....let me first say i am a HUGE fan of the 35mm rise. From a previous accident i would get pretty constant upper neck/shoulder pain with any climbing, if i was in the saddle for hours i would end my ride in pain. Having the 35mm rise bar honestly has helped a lot with the tension and flare ups! Also, lets talk about the difference these have with arm pump! The bars are stiff and responsive. love love love. I cut mine down to 760mm and because of the rise they felt a little wide at first, but the more i rode it the better they felt.

Wow these bars are great! Coming from some alloy bars and riding really chunky, chattery trails in AZ, I am blown away by the compliance of these bars. Great price compared to some other options. Fit and finish seems great so far. The marking for cutting the width and installing are great. 100 miles in and I will be putting these on my other bike as well Do yourself, and your arms a favor.

Solid bar, less chatter

Really like the handlebar. I cut the bar down from 800 to 760 for my XC machine. I thought that I really liked my prior carbon bar (damaged in crash) but the One Up seems to reduce the chatter to the hands better. That alone makes it worth the upgrade. I pinged my gear head asking for a recommendation and he suggested this bar. I'm glad he did. My only complaint is that I wish One Up made a bar with less rise. This will do in the absence of a 0 or 10 degree rise option though.

Great carbon bar

I've had these bars on my bike for about two months now. They are amazing carbon bars but I'm not sure I can really noticed the claimed difference of vertical input versus a standard 35mm bar. The bars are perfectly stiff on steering input and handle great all around. I really like what OneUp is doing across the board in the industry but if you have bars you are happy with, I'm not sure spending the money on these for the vertical compliance.

Replaced Renthals with these bars and the difference is clear. They are definitely more pliable, but still still plenty tough for plowing through chunk.

Nice bar but...

Love the design, weight and stiffness of these bars. But about 10 months after purchase the clear coat started peeling off. Unfortunately, I waited a month too long as OneUp only offers a 1-year warranty. My Easton Haven bars lasted about 5 or 6 years before they started peeling.

Great bar but wish they mad it in 31.8

I was so excited to get this bar and then realized it wouldn?t fit my current stem. I?m not usually a fan of 35 mm bars because they are so stiff but these seem to not fit that norm. Fit and finish were great just wish they made them in other sizes. Otherwise a very nice feeling and looking bar.

I love these bars! Say what you will about companies making wild claims to sell their product... these bars are waaaay more comfy and compliant than the other high-end bars I have had. I will put these on every build I have until something better comes along.

These things are incredible! Put these on my 2019 Trek Fuel Ex 9.7 trail bike and could not be happier. So much less input to the hands! Planning to pick up a second set for the hard--tail as well.

Got these for my wife?s IBIS. The 800mm width is exactly what she needed. And the 20 mm rise was perfect. Super lightweight. Easy on the hands and handle great. She Loves these bars!!!
