Lighter and smaller.
The ridiculously tiny Optimus Crux Stove folds up to fit under a 220g butane canister and weighs only 3.3oz. When you need to go ultralight on your backcountry travels, this stove definitely needs to be with you. The Cruz Stove burns for 90 minutes going full blast with a 220g canister, and it boils a liter of water in only three minutes. When you decide to bring a tarp instead of a tent and pull the frame from your pack to save weight, you better have this Optimus stove on the gear list.

Great product, packs up small, wind resistance seems strong even without a shield. The pivot for packing the burner flat creates a little wobble when cooking, but I would consider that a fair trade off for the size reduction the pivot allows.

This product is great.
I have used white gas in the past and I've borrowed jet boils to try em out and before I got this I think it was a soto. I am super happy that. I lost my soto and had to go searching for a new one. Does good in the wind, has a nice range of from high to low. Fits in my little pot with a canister of fuel and it it is big enough to be pretty stable which is important when you have limited food and resources.

Multiple multi day campouts worked flawlessly. Only rec would be practice lighting it once or twice before heading out.

Perfect Stove
I love the storage bag and folding mechanism that makes use of the underside of a fuel canister. This keeps the stove from taking up hardly any room while it is also protected and rattle free. The adjustment works well allowing for fast boiling and simmering capabilities.

Tiny, cute, and works great!
Have been using this stove for about a year. It packs up tiny and fits under the concave area under the gas canister. It has worked great in every situation, with weather down to mid-30s. I rarely use the wind guard, but I'm not camping in alpine conditions. I use with the heat exchange pot and it boils water fast. A great simple stove that gets the job done. I see no reason (at least for me) to spend lots of $$$ on a more expensive system.

Excellent heat output, boil time and size. The only thing is the tri-point stove head slightly shifts/ wobbles while under weight.
