Ortlieb 2024 Back-Roller Plus

Ortlieb 2024 Back-Roller Plus offered in 4 colors: black, blue, dark chili & moss green and include an additional roll-top storage pocket at front. The 23 liter bag offers a decent amount of space and an internal zipped pocket for convenience to store keys, passport, loose cash or wallet. Attaching it to your rack is an easy motion of pulling up on the handle and slotting the pannier in place, and doing the same to remove it. The mounting hooks are adjustable along rail and an adjustable plastic arm at the bottom helps to keep the pannier from bouncing around over bumps. The bag is solidly built using a weatherproof cordura fabric, the material is anti-scratch, dust proof, PVC-free, puncture resistant and waterproof. I’ve purchased on sale with Ortlieb pannier insert to keep bag’s form. At sale price; it was an easy decision to upgrade.

Very useful and super sturdy

This is a great pannier, very well built, ample space and the clips to connect to the bike are easy to use and well made. I also bought the commuter insert which basically makes this pannier perfect. Except the closure mechanism with the buckle on either side which connect to the strap are a little cumbersome to use. It's quite difficult to close the bag when it's not fully packed without having some lose straps around. They do not get close to the wheels though, so this is safe to use.

Fully featured!

I really like the side pocket. It is faster to get to than the large compartment and good for storing small flat items. Holds a lot of gear. Excited to run this bag through it's paces!
