Why We Like The Ortovox Westalpen 3L Light Pant
The Ortovox Westalpen 3L Light Pants give us the lightweight protection we want for our mountaineering expeditions and alpine tours. Weighing in around 9 ounces, the Westalpen features a durable, 3-layer shell that's highly waterproof and highly breathable, which protects us from high elevation weather while helping us manage heat and moisture when we're burning serious calories on alpine ascents. They also feature plenty of fit adjustments from a hook-adjustable waistband to adjustable leg width and anatomically shaped knees for more freedom of movement. For a perfectly matched kit, we pair them with the Westalpen 3L Light Jacket.
