The Ace packs the features of Osprey's adult packs into a size that's designed to fit kids up to 14 or so, and it has adjustable shoulder straps so your kid won't outgrow it in 16 hours. All the extras are there too, like a loop for an ice axe or fishing pole, an attachment for trekking poles, an integrated rain cover, and compression straps to lock the whole thing down.

Kiddo loved the color and fit.

Fits great on my 8 yr old. We used it on a 4 day backpacking trip. We were able to fit her inflatable sleep pad, sleeping bag, clothing and other small items. The adjustable straps were helpful in adjusting to her comfort. Very easy to adjust, which I loved. Lots of smaller compartments for all her items and roomy side pockets for water if needing more than bladder compartment. Highly recommend. We have used this brand for years. Osprey is always reliable and good quality products.

I wish the large compression

What would be the recommended age range for this pack? I have a 7 1/2 yr. old daughter. We just had her fitted & the Women's Osprey Tempest 20 XS/S fit her torso perfectly. How might this pack compare on fit?
