Why We Like The Osprey Escapist Handlebar Bag

When a bit of rain comes our way during a bikepacking adventure or our daily commute, we’re happy to know our gear is safe and dry in the Osprey Escapist Handlebar Bag. The highly-waterproof construction features RF welded seams and waterproof zippers to ensure water doesn’t sneak inside, and the purge patch system lets air escape. Glove-friendly zippers allow for easy access to our gear during our ride, while the over-stem strap and front reflective compression straps help keep our gear from swaying.

Well built!

As with all Osprey goods, this handlebar bikepacking roll is well built and easy to install. The bag interfaced well with my Redshift kitchen sink bars and has plenty of clearance with the front tire. Only gripe is the clasps as I would have liked all the straps to have quick release clasps instead of having to thread the straps through buckles.
