Great traveler
It fits in the overhead compartment of all the flights I've been on so far! Solid interior packing space, and the detachable bag fits comfortably under the seat in front of you on the plane. Fits my laptop, a light zip-sweater, glasses, pens a small notebook, and room for more. I love that the laptop compartment doubles as a water bladder holder for day hikes. 20oz yeti Water bottle fits snuggly and securely in mesh bottle carrier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] overall aesthetic was minimal and pleasantly clean | general functionality, especially in regard to back support and convertibility was great | the integration of the day pack has the right intent but was not as secure as desired, especially when both fully packed and connected | the day pack chest strap broke day one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pack was exchanged for the Farpoint 55 as I was wanting a pack that could be used as a carryon for air travel. If able to check a bag, then this pack is the one for you!

Best Travel Backpack Ever
This bag is worth every penny. I've had my for about 10 years now and it has never let me down. I mostly use it for backpacking and have taken it through Central and South America and several times to Asia. The detachable pack is a game changer. It's easy to fly with and comfortable to wear. Some of the clips and cords are starting to break down due to so much wear, but I expect that given the amount of abuse it has been through. I'm very happy with my purchase and will likely be getting a new pack soon!

I love mine
I really don’t enjoy taking my rolling suitcase if I can avoid it, because between myself, my wife and son we would have a lot of luggage for two people to move, so I tend to take my farpoint with me to free my hands up and needless to say I’m a fan. It’s perfect for me and will use the daypack as a carry on or a pack for around town once we get to where we’re going. If you’re on the fence, it’s worth the purchase

10 Years of Heavy Use!
I've used this bag for 10 years now; the small pack daily and the large bag for a number of trips each year. It's worked perfect and held up great. Over time, some of the zipper cords have worn and broke, but they are easy to replace with other cord material. Fits a travel guitar if you put in first… which I take everywhere with me. Worth every penny.
