Bag holds much more than
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bag holds much more than you expect. and it’s very durable. It attaches easily to my other Osprey bag as well.

Needs one more smaller outside
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needs one more smaller outside compartment and maybe an attachment point or two on the back for a carabiner.

This isn't made for the
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This isn't made for the Sojourn Porter 46 (carry on travel pack) but it fits. So you can attach it to carry it to the plane and detach to put under the seat for things you need on the flight, then pop it back on to walk out of the airport. No more: big pack on the back and small one on the front ...making it hard to see where you're walking. You may end up doing that for safety but you get to choose when to clip it on. As a day pack it's nothing special. It works for walking around cities and short hikes. As a travel system, it works better than any other two pack options you have.

I love how it integrates
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how it integrates with the Fairview 36. The openings for hydration systems come in handy for charging cables as well. I do wish the main compartment was more easily accessed, the zippers only go down part way so it’s like reaching into a deep pocket.

A strong, reliable bag but
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A strong, reliable bag but it cannot stand on the ground by itself which I found annoying. Side pockets are also too small for 2 big bottles.

I got this back pack
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this back pack specifically for carry on travel. What sold me the bag was the back harness system. It was incredibly comfortable, my mind was blown. Never again will I go back to regular travel back packs! The pockets were sufficient for my needs. The front pocket is, for the lack of a better word, useless for water bottles but useful of those slim items you need quick access to like flip flops or one of those packable water bottles. The top access pocket is perfect for storing snacks or other smaller items. The hip strap does have another useful small pocket for a transit card or chapstick. In terms of size, it fits perfectly on the overhead bin but mind you, it was on an international flight and they mostly have larger overhead bins. I did have an issue fitting it ONE TIME but I feel like it just wasn't pushed all the way in. On my other flights, absolutely no problem fitting it in. I was able to fit 3 small packing cubes in the bottom half of the bag, a weeks worth of clothes: underwear/socks, tops/packable jacket, pants/shorts/sleep wear. On the top half, small toiletries bag, electronics charging kit, and my Sony headphones. With all of that, I still had plenty of space on top to fill! It is quite capacious but obviously, weight will be an issue if you fill it to the brim. Overall, loved the bag and even bought the compatible daypack for it!

Fits well with the larger
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits well with the larger travel bag. My only suggestion would be a way to keep the straps from flopping around. If Osprey would attach Velcro tabs so we can roll and stow them that would be great.

I got it to go
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got it to go with my Fairview rolling pack, thinking it might be useful that it can clip together; but I didn't end up clipping them together on my recent trip. The size and proportion of the space inside was a little awkward. The volume seems to get a little narrow in the middle, so it's hard to get things in and out, especially if there are bottles in the pockets. I was really wishing for some sort of stuff-it pouch so that I could stash something temporarily. Overall I really wanted to like this more than I did.

Solid day pack
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- 15L
I bought this a few months ago. I’ve primarily used it for holding my laptop and several books for school. Plus: holds the 32oz Nalgenes as long as the inside isn’t super stuffed. Handle is built into straps, so much stronger and more durable than normal handle (but might be difficult to hang on a hook). Super durable material and I find the straps comfortable. I’m 5’4” and 140lb if that matters. I don’t find they dig into my neck. Cons: the top opening is a little awkward. Doesn’t open down the sides, so would be very hard to find things lost in the bottom. I like lots of pockets, and this just doesn’t have that much.
