Why We Like The Osprey Hydraulics 3L Reservoir
Whether biking or hiking, we never leave without a hydration bladder in our pack. The Osprey Hydraulics 3L Reservoir is a premium choice for hydrating on the go, thanks to its easy-to-use system and ergonomic features. The Hydraulics 3L Reservoir has a Slide-Seal top for easy, efficient filling and secure closure. The QuickConnect System allows us to easily disconnect the tube and install a water filter when in the backcountry, and the Hydrapak Blaster bite valve has a fast water flow and an on/off switch. The Hydrostatic Backerplate gives the reservoir structure when filled to make installing it in a pack easier, and a magnetic clip on the hose that pairs with a magnetic clip on the shoulder strap keeps our hose and bite valve in place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reservoir is fine. I'm having trouble removing the mouthpiece to use the bite valve cover. I've been twisting and pulling for over a week now with no success. My old bladder still works and I'm limping by with it. Any suggestions, would be appreciated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First hike with brand new Kamber pack and 3L Hydraulic. Upon filling with water, at 2/3 full water squirted out at the lower right handle weld. Totally unusable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great reservoir, I like the upgraded mouth piece. I just wish the hose was 40 longer so it didn’t keep pulling off the magnet.

Awful
Would leave zero stars if I could. Ordered this along with the bite valve. Only used 3 times as it leaked a puddle on the floor/ in my car each time I tried to use it - if I had ended up in an emergency situation I would have ended up with not enough water. I work outdoors and have used many different water packs over the years - I have never come across one as poor quality (particularly for the price) as this. I will be sticking to Source hydration packs from now on. I cannot even get a refund for this rubbish.

Quality
Top notch bit of kit, and clips into the backpack. Also I don't get my sleeves wet filling up as it got a handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice, it does its job but I also really like how I can clip to the backpack with the magnet. Also how it has a setting to if you want the water to be stopped, or how much you want it to flow

There is a little improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is a little improvement each time I replace a water bladder. This one is great and I especially like that it is easier to clean than the old one. Thanks.

I generally prefer water bottles
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I generally prefer water bottles to water reservoirs, but during long, hot summer treks with uncertain refilling options, reservoirs are more or less a necessity. This is the best reservoir I've used: it's large, connects securely within an Osprey pack, and is relatively easy to clean.
