Hydraulics LT Hydration Reservoir
Osprey doesn't mess around when it comes to keeping you comfortable on the trail, and that's evident in the design of its Hydraulics LT Hydration Reservoir. Made with twin-welded chevron baffles, this reservoir limits sloshing, stabilizes water, and maintains a flat profile in your pack. Osprey equipped the Hydraulics LT with a convenient Slide-Seal closure for easy-filling at the kitchen sink or spring, and the magnetic bite valve ensures you don't loose any water until you're good and ready to wet your whistle.

First bladder had a defect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First bladder had a defect but the item was replaced quickly and with minimal effort. Wide mouth bladder makes for easy open, fill, and expulsion of air. Fastening inside a pack is easy and secure. Segmented tubing is a nice touch. Bite valve works well but seems a little overly complicated - the lock is not obvious but that is a minor detail. Excellent product and I will be phasing out bladders from "the competition".

Met or exceeded all expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Met or exceeded all expectations during our trip to Costa Rica. We stayed cool and hydrated during a 3+ hour hanging bridges tour thanks to our Osprey backpacks and 2.5L reservoir.

A great add to my
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great add to my Osprey pack. Fits as it was designed. The top fold and slide lock work smoothly. Short 4 miler to test this Fathers Day went well. Very happy so far! Looking forward to the test this fall in RMNP, UT Big Five and GC.

Taste terrible!! I have tried
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Taste terrible!! I have tried bacon soda, hydration pack cleaning tablets and denture cleaning tablets. I have cycled probably 25 reservoirs full of water through it since I have had it. Let it sit overnight for many nights. Nothing helps. I cannot recommend this product. Unless you like a plastic taste do not get this Reservoir.

scored on a used running
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] scored on a used running vest, but it didn't have a Bladder, This one fit the need and is so easy to clean after a run. Bonus Points for having it on sale when I needed it. Half off everyone else's price.

I purchased this bladder for
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this bladder for a friend who was heading to Africa to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. A similar bladder came with her Osprey pack but she needed another bladder so we could add the tube insulation so her water would not freeze in the tube portion that extended from the pack itself. She ended up using this new bladder with the tube insulation to keep her water warm on the upper portions of the mountain and cool at the lower altitudes. Everything worked perfectly and no leak even with daily refilling and rough treatment. A great reservoir for any hiking trip.

Sucks!
nov, 2023 This 1.5 L internal bladder is designed terribly. Really bad. I have several bladders and vouch for their value. I even have one (not Osprey) in my kayak life preservers. The best one for your pack seems to be the blue Gregory internal bladder. It has a handy hanger one may properly dry the item over your bath tub when not in use to dry well and avoid mold and bacteria. However, it is almost not worth the effort to try and use Any. You are actually better off NOT having the mess! This Osprey bladder really stinks and is impossible to properly use or dry correctly; you are better off with Nalgene water bottles. if I want to use the bladder my newer 55L Eja Pro, I must latch it on with the red Osprey hang devise--not a small chord and a plastic buckle. This "improved" system renders the bladder to leak. Disastrous for pack contents. I would NEVER buy this again NEVER use it and pitched the whole outfit into the garbage--not worth my time even returning the junk. Save your dough. Buy some good Nalgene bottles. Osprey: this item really sucks! not up to your usual high standards, There are NO instructions and you use lots of non-recyclable crap to security wrap the item so your stores can have the convenience of hanging it. What a crock!

No!
Osprey; ya Missed the design boat on this one. Fire the person who thought this up! It’s horrible!! Prefer by long shot my Gregory Platypus. However, the attachment clip in newer models ofOsprey packs designed ONLY to accommodate this design. Total awful Business!

Can't believe they're still selling these
This is so frustrating. I bought one of these for my partner and the hose kept coming out of its socket - literally just would not stay put. I thought it was a fluke, so bought another one for me (because I love Osprey) and not only would the hose not stay in the socket again, but this one also leaked. I unpacked my pack on the first night to discover both of my heavy flannels laden with water!!! 100% unacceptable, and a big dent to Osprey's reputation in my mind. Also, while minor, I also find the structure of the bladder to be a bit frustrating. There are these little guide holes that you're supposed to mash the hose through to support it (I guess), but it's not clear why you would need to do this, and the holes end up just pointing the hose off to the side, which is AWAY from where the hose opening tends to be in most packs (which is in the middle). Not sure how they managed to get this so wrong, but they should absolutely stop selling these bladders until they're more ready to deliver an outstanding product.
