Why We Like The Osprey Kestrel 68L Backpack
No matter what we throw at it, the Kestrel 68L Backpack can handle the terrain. Osprey's earth-friendly fabrics don't cut back on durability, so we can continue to hoof it for days or weeks through bush-covered alpine, sandy desert, and rocky cliffs. This pack's massive capacity has us covered on extended excursions, even including a rain cover to keep us prepared for unpredictable weather. The side compression straps let us adjust our load as needed, and they secure our equipment while we trek. The AirScape back panel provides a stable carrying system, keeping the pack close to our body while allowing airflow for active comfort.

KESTRAL 68
Great pack! Carried on a dozen trips now with 10 to 15 mile days over this last year. Average pack weight of 28-32 pounds,( i like my comfort) and did not get tired of the pack. Back has good ventilation. Was comfortable start to finish every time. Had one day of 3500 elevation gain, 15 miles, comfortable. Held everything well organized with some space left over even with the bear cannister in the pack.

First time out
Took this pack for 3 days in Shawnee National Forest-it did not disappoint. Held all my gear quite well. Plenty of storage and separate areas to keep things organized.
