Why We Like The Sirrus 24L Backpack
The second you put on the Osprey Women's Sirrus 24 Backpack and feel its mesh AirSpeed back panel successfully transfer the load to your legs, you get overwhelmingly excited, at least we do. The AirSpeed suspension system combines the rigidity of aluminum stays with a tensioned mesh back panel for effective load transfer and cross ventilation, while the Women-specific Spacer Mesh hip-belt and shoulder straps ensure our load rests where it should for max efficiency and pain-free hiking.

Over engineered
First let me say, I'm a fan of osprey packs however this daypack doesn't seem to pack well imo. If you put a full bladder in the pack, it doesn't leave a lot of space for anything else. I felt it had too many pockets and zippers which just added to the weight. The hipbelt pockets were too small to hold a regular iphone. I had to return it, hopefully it will be updated.

Great fit; nice daypack
I have two other Osprey packs and love the women-specific features. I bought this Sirrus for casual hiking and walking to town for groceries and other supplies. I got the right fit after watching a Youtube that showed that the hipbelt pad in front should be centered over the pelvic bone - not above it as I had incorrectly done. The torso adjustment "ladder" is a nice feature. I am 5'7" and measured my torso at 15.6", and found the second shortest adjustment to work the best at keeping the shoulder straps from riding up. This is really a comfortable and well fitting pack for me.

Nowhere to carry phone for easy access
Regular iPhone doesn't fit in hip pockets and there's nowhere to carry your phone in the pack for easy access. This is a super annoying! Everyone needs easy phone access- whether it be to access downloaded trail map info or for taking photos. I didn't like the way that trekking poles are stowed either. They kept coming loose and swinging (It could've been due to the hiking terrain of climbing and bending?) Apart from that, the pack was very comfortable on a 12 mile hike with a lot of bouldering and climbing. I'm 5'9 and the fit was perfect. I wouldn't buy this pack again or recommend it- there are other packs out there that can accommodate a phone.

Beautiful pack with one problem
The pack is sturdy, has lots of pockets and has useful features like a whistle, attachable rain cover and breathable back. Unfortunately I can’t use it as the pockets on the hip straps are placed right where my forearms hit. They leave rub burns on my arms and there doesn’t seem to be a way to solve the problem. I’ve tried several times with the same issue to the point I’ve taken the pack off during a hike. I’m disappointed as I really wanted it to work but can’t get around the pockets brushing against my arms.

Love love love Osprey packs!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love love love Osprey packs! I own an outdoor adventure school so I have only Osprey packs for my students to use. I feel if I’ve introducing people to outdoor adventures they should use gear that ensures they will enjoy the journey. Also, students like to use what I use. I bought a new Sirrus 24 so I could have a new color and cycled my old one but still in great condition, to the gear room!

I love the color of
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the color of this bag! My boyfriend has a much older Osprey of this volume/size and mine seems like it could hold much more than the older one. So far I’ve hiked with it here and there but not carried too much weight in it and it’s been fantastic. The waist belt is taking a little longer to break in due to the thickness of the side pouches, but I’m sure it will wear in soon!

M husband and I each
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] M husband and I each bought this pack for the Portuguese Camino, having to carry all of our gear for a two week trek. Great pack for our purpose! Lots of places to stash things we needed more immediate access too, easy to adjust straps to fit. Lightweight. Looks good too!
