Why We Like The Osprey Sojourn 60L Bag
We like the versatility of the redesigned Osprey Sojourn 60L Bag—which lets us wheel around our belongings or carry them comfortably on our back. It features a durable and sustainable build with high-tenacity and ballistic fabrics that are highly abrasion resistant and made from recycled materials to conserve resources. The high road chassis and 90mm wheels can handle rough terrain, or we can access the removable harness and hip belt to carry our belongings backpack-style. This pack is travel-friendly with a large, clamshell opening for easy packing and unpacking, internal mesh and liner pockets for organization, and padded sidewalls and compression straps to protect and secure our loads.

I love the size of
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of the bag for traveling. Unfortunately I came off my first international flight only to find the cover for the backpack straps had the zippers completely disconnected & no way to reconnect them. I’m on a 2.5 week trip & this makes it really difficult.

Osprey Best Bag
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 60 Sojourn
I bought this Osprey at the last minute because I had. Sojourn 45 and love it but it was a smidge too small for space I needed. Osprey is consistently quality, wheels, zippers and it fits a lot. I travel 300 days out of the year on conservation projects in Asia and Africa. Osprey is rugged with option of backpack straps.

Sojourn or Farpoint, it's a toss up!
We are traveling to Europe next fall for several months. We ordered our new wheeled backpacks now because we wanted to try them out so that we know we made the right decision. We have recently retired, 60+, healthy and will be traveling to multiple locations via train, plane and foot. After multiple reviews of different companies, we both decided on different Osprey products. I chose the Osprey Sojourn 60L Wheeled travel backpack. My husband chose the Osprey Farpoint 65L Wheeled Backpack. We both like our wheeled backpacks for different reasons. Concerning the Sojourn, I love the adjustable straps, the density of the fabric, the zippers that have a loop for safety, the inside straps for compression, mesh pockets and how large it is. The only drawback is it weighs a little more than the Farpoint and does not have enough exterior pockets to throw additional items in such as small purchases, maps etc. You need to open the large interior zipper to do this. The Farpoint, is lighter to carry, has so many more exterior pockets for a simple insert of purchases, maps etc. We understand, this gives easier access, but there are options for locks to be added. The fabric is not as dense and heavy as the Sojourn and is lighter to carry. Filling up both bags is easy and hold about the same amount of items in the large interior space. The wheels on both products are different, but appear heavy duty. If you are looking for a durable rolling suitcase that has multiple straps in the interior of the suitcase with adjustable straps for backpacking, nice rolling wheels, large interior space, the Sojourn is the answer. If you are wanting to save $ but get a great bag with lots of accessible pockets, less weight to carry on your back and also has large interior space, the Farpoint is your answer. Prior to choosing which bag best suits your style of travel, go watch the video on any bag they have available. This made our options of what we both chose easier.
