Why We Like The Transporter 120L Rolling Gear Bag
The Transporter 120L doesn't hesitate or resist as it rolls our gear across cobblestone streets, over gravel paths, and along icy sidewalks. All our climbing equipment, including the heft of our full rack and 80m rope, fit easily into the cavernous main compartment, leaving enough room for our camping gear and warm layers. The sturdy aluminum frame handles the weight with ease, while the heavy-duty hardware doesn't flinch when knocked against doorways and slammed onto airport belt loaders. When we check our gear after pulling it from the arrival carousel, it's just as organized as when we first packed it thanks to the two internal compression straps holding it down through the jostles of travel.

This is a great pack.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great pack. I have used it to travel with the Poco child carrier. The Poco (my verison, anyway), fits inside with a little room around it for other items, like clothing. The narrow build is quite maneuverable, and the material seems like it will be durable over the long term. It seems surprisingly compact for such a large storage capacity. The handles are great too - they don't get caught on anything, and there are plenty of handles to grab the bag at almost any angle.

Best rolling duffle out there.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best rolling duffle out there. Have traveled the globe with this thing and it’s nearly bomb proof…unless AA loses it and crushes it in a hydraulic door…but that’s a story for another day. Love this bag. Have all 3 sizes.

Typical "bulletproof" Osprey construction, functionality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Typical "bulletproof" Osprey construction, functionality and attractive design. My only issue is that this bag is 3" longer than the max checked luggage length for nearly any airline. If I had known that I definitely would have ordered the next size down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] More durable than any of its top competitors, this thing promises, after two international work trips already, to stand up to a long life of pro level abuse. 120L is everything I had hoped for.

Exceeded Expectations in trip to Europe
Before buying this, I did a lot of research across similar brands on similar styled wheeled duffels. The competition doesn't measure up to the excellence of this bag and during our trip to Europe with a 4 month old, we kept saying how glad we were to have bought this bag over others. We were looking for several characteristics for our ideal bag: maneuverability, capacity, and toughness. Maneuverability - Initially I thought the short handle was going to be a problem with catching my feet (I am 6' tall for reference), it was not. The large "rollerblade" type wheels rolled over everything! Any cobblestones, uneven street, railcar, stair, was easily accomplished. We took this thing on every mode of transportation, even with a stroller and another large bag we were able to make it work because the Transporter was so great. Capacity - Yes, I too saw that it is technically an "oversized" baggage according to most airlines. I flew on a budget airline to Europe and they didn't even bat an eye as long as it was under the 50 lbs. I took the chance knowing it was oversized and luckily nobody said anything. This large of a duffel can seriously fit anything. Skiing, diving, climbing equipment. Clothes for one adult and a baby for 2 weeks in Europe, you name it. Toughness - Did I mention we took this to Europe? It survived trains, planes, and automobiles. The fabric does feel a little thin but after the trip it's as tough as kevlar.
