Very clever carry-on as adjunct to checked bag
Because I often travel with outdoor gear, I usually check bags, often out of necessity due to carryon limitations e. g. large duffles, skis, bikes. Plus, I don’t like to lug baggage through the airport especially because I usually fly two segments to get to my destination. But, luggage is sometimes delayed. This is a bigger issue when traveling internationally, such as four segments to get to Asia or Africa. The Global Carry-on holds a few days of clothes plus toiletries, meds, rain gear or a compressible down parka, snacks, and my laptop so I have the essentials. I can do a minimalist three day trip with just this bag. It can fit under the seat if needed. My wife wanted one too and loves it. Keep up the great work Osprey. (Durango, Colorado)

Only one trip but really
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only one trip but really liked it. Well organized that made it easy to fit in things for work and fitness. Comfortable carry and really like the sleeve to fit over my luggage. I'm a little concerned with how the material will wear. Would prefer to not have scuffs for business meetings.

WOW! This is the best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! This is the best Backpack I’ve ever owned. I actually don’t prefer backpacks but this one is different. Comfortable! Flexible! Light! Amazing! It allows you to use as backpack or satchel. The backpack straps stow seamlessly and the amount of pockets is astonishing…Love It!!! Looking forward to traveling with this to Tibet later this year. Only thing it really could
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only thing it really could use is an external water bottle holder but it was otherwise an excellent option for a lot more space for carry-on

We already had purchased one
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We already had purchased one of these and it worked out great for our trip to the Galapagos. We have now bought another one for our next trip as I was jealous. Great size for carry on—conforms to Iceland Air carry on measurements. Love the ability to have the backpack straps, the handles and the sling. Love that it fits over the handle of our Transport 90 L wheeled duffle. I don’t care that it gets scratched up….more important for weather protection IMO.

Part of my winning Galapagos travel gear
We did a 14 day trip to Ecuador which included a one week cruise to the Galapagos. Spouse used the 90 L wheeled duffle in the Transporter line and one of the Transporter Global carry on. Turned out this was a winning combination for one person. So much so, we are buying the exact same combo for me for this year's trip to Iceland. Iceland Air has small carry on restrictions and this seems to be the ideal carry on that has backpack, handle, and carry strap for a multi-option choice and it can easily be slid onto the 90L for the ultimate wheeled experience. Loved the material as we worry about things getting wet on boats or wet climates. True, as others have said, it can look a bit beat up after the first few uses but it is very sturdy. Loved all the features for the Global...lots of storage options and works well with or without packing cubes.

Great for travel!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit under the seat of an American airline plane. PROS: Sturdy and very comfy! Cen fit a few days of clothes in it CONS: I feel like I could have gone a little bigger, and one of the straps tucked into the back seems like it rubbed away some of the material, which also not a big fan of that plastic coating.

Transporter Carry-On!!!! My Dream Bag!!
I am a 62 year old female; I just went to Scotland for 13 days of hiking and exploring, and everything that I needed fit in this wonderful backpack. And I flew Icelandic Air, which has very stringent carry-on requirements. The backpack weighs less than 3 lbs, so the remaining 27 lbs was all me:blush: I can't figure out why these aren't more common!
