A nice idea...

- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I tried to attach a small bike pump to my downtube. It's small enough to fit in a hip pack, if needed. The slightest bump or impact will knock this off your bike. It does not lock very well. I considered loosening it thinking that maybe I was pulling it too tight, causing the "lock" to pull apart, but that just results in the pump sliding out. There are probably better options out there.
