ActiveIce Hijab
The first cooling and UPF 50+ hijab for outdoor sports with no-slip coverage, easy adjustability, helmet compatibility, and a secure fit for exercise and everyday use.
The ActiveIce Hijab is the technical outdoor hijab built with climbers, skiers, mountaineers, and hikers in mind.
Growing up climbing in Malaysia, Outdoor Research Product Manager Sara Nazim saw an opportunity to build a truly technical hijab that eliminates the need for pins for a secure fit.
This helmet-optimized hijab has a fitted stretchy knit around the face. The hidden shock cord back adjustment cinches the hijab down for high exertion activity and keeps hair off the neck. The ActiveIce cooling fabric combined with lightweight UPF50+ sun protection makes this hijab perfect for all day in the outdoors.

Awesome for running
I bought this for my wife as she’s just getting into running. She absolutely loves the hijab. It’s breathable, the drawstring keeps the hair in place and it’s not too snug around the face. She wants 5 more. Overall great design. Only complaint is standard colours like black are a bit hard to come by. Looking forward to future designs.

nice cowl
I think of it as a "cowl" because I'm not interested in the religious implications of a hijab. It has wider shoulders than a balaclava and contains stray hair under a helmet or cap.

Best Activewear Hijab on the Market
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable and holds up really well. Hands down the best activewear hijab out there.

Offered the UV I needed with comfort!
I'll start off by saying I am a man and I purchased this to wear while being outdoors. I burn like a marshmallow and have tried different items to protect myself from the sun and biting insects with limited success. Whether it's fishing, gardening, or mowing the lawn this has been the first item which, when paired with an OR bug net, has truly kept me protected outdoors without me being uncomfortably warm. I definitely recommend. It runs a little tight, but I also understand I'm not the target demographic, so I would never sing it on that.

I would but this product again
I wrote a review previously about how loud the material felt- I ended up keeping the scarf because I missed the return deadline and I found it was great for wearing canoeing in +34C weather!! I am used to a chiffon scarf that is very thin, but once you get used to this scarf it is perfect! Super light weight and feels barely there

LOVE this! Best sports hijab I've tried
I never leave a review for anything but I love this hijab! It's so lightweight and it keeps my hair in place. It didn't slip at all for me during a 5 mile run even when I picked up the pace! I immediately bought 2 more after my first run. Definitely recommend! I've tried multiple hijabs (Nike, underarmour, haute hijab, lululemon) and this is by far my favorite.

Loud fabric
This hijab had a nice shape on the face and felt lightweight. Unfortunately the fabric panels around the ears is thick and makes a rustling sound when you love. I found it hard to hear with the hijab on. I will be returning this product so I did not get a chance to test how it performs in the heat or when doing activity.
