works for casual activities
Good things about these pants 1- These pants are nice and warm 2- Fabric is durable and comfortable (it takes a few wears/washes) 3- The pants aren't see through, but I did get a dark color why I dont love these pants 1- the fabric isn't very flexible. While possible, these pants make it hard to get full ROM at the knees 2- the waist sits low and likes to ride down. This adds to the difficulty of bending my knees, I feel like I have to pull these pants up every time I squat or sit down. 3- the seam near the ankle digs in like crazy with ski boots. It only took one run to notice the rubbing and the seam was painful by the end of the day. 4- length. I'm 5'10 and these pants fall a couple inches about my ankle. But for most people I'd imagine the length is just fine 5'10 athletic build ordered size M

A good base layer
I wore these under my Cirque 2 pants for cross country skiing. They were a good base layer for temperatures hovering around 0C .

Doesn't feel good
Got this for my wife and she had to return it because the material doesn't feel very nice against the skin and rides up. There are better merino base layer bottoms on the market.

Great color. Comfortable and cozy.
Very comfortable and cozy. Great for lounging around the house and also for layering for hiking, camping and skiing. Go to layer for leight weight warmth. Love the color too!

Wrong fit - cannot recommend based on fit
I wanted to love these pants so much! They aren't stretchy, but I feel like functional movement in the legs is fine. The waistband is way too loose and they fall off my body. Unfortunately, I won't be able to wear them on a snowboard trip to Japan as I can't spend my whole day trying to keep them from falling down. Maybe I can take in the waist myself?

Very unstretchy
I wanted to love these, but I can't believe how unstretchy they are! I was going to use them for activities like under pants for climbing or hiking when cold, but there's no way these would feel good for that. They restricted movement too much.

Light, strong and soft.
The bottoms are super comfy, fit well and seem like they are durable. The bottoms were a little scratchy right out of the package, but are much softer after a wash.

I took these to the North Pole and worked great
I used these under windproof shells to run the North Pole marathon in summer 2023. The temps were upper 20s with light wind and sunny. These provided just enough insulation without being too hot. I recommend these for any active outdoor activity under a windproof/waterproof shell.
