Not quite merino
The fabric feels more like polyester than merino wool. Otherwise it has a great fit and function as an under layer.

Extremely light but warm for late nights and early mornings
This hoodie makes for a great base while doing wildlife surveys either before sunrise or after sunset. Keeps you warm without needing to wear any bulky outer layers and is very comfortable. Material is stretchy and flexible but feels strong. I also didn't feel like I got too hot wearing it while hiking between survey locations. Haven't had the chance to test it in truly could weather yet, but seems like it would be a good base for that as well.

Gnarly cold weather shirt
Great quality merino hoodie which doubles as a baclava...excellent for those sweet winter mountain days and everyday cold weather wear. A must have for outdoor layering arsenal.

Solid Base layer.
Warm, comfortable, not too Itchy. Doesn't smell after big days. Also love the hood, it fits great under helmet or hat in place of a buff or balaclava.

Quickly Becoming a Favorite Layer
I wore this as a baselayer against my skin this ski season. It's a wonderful design. I'd wear it with the hood and chin protector on chilly days under my helmet....loved it. I'm 5'9" and weigh 155 lbs. The size medium is perfect.

Perfect underlayer, plus a clutch neck gaiter/hood.
The wool makes it a great base layer, but the integrated neck gaiter/hood is awesome. You can cover your face without the tightness of a balaclava, but the hood keeps it from falling down. It's great to keep the direct wind off your face and lets your breath keep your face warm, but also doesn't restrict your breathing, blow your exhaling into your eyes, or accumulate moisture like a tight balaclava. I freakin' love it.

Warm and light.
Light material but still warm. Also, the face covering is perfect; it's not too tight against your face, but still blocks the wind enough to keep your cheeks warm. I wish they had more colors or patterns.

Good Ski Touring Layer
I've used it several times ski touring in the wasatch in warmer conditions. Thumbholes and baklava/hood are great features and it breathes decently enough (for the heat I used it in). Cannot say how it holds up on a cold day but no complaints so far. I will say it is a little rougher than one would hope for a base layer, I got a little chafing on my chest with it but I wear bibs touring so your mileage may vary. The fabric overall should be softer at this pricepoint imo. At my height/weight it is just on the edge of being too short but still fits fine. Size: M Measurements: 6ft 175

Life saver for running in the cold!
I love having an extra warm layer to use on cold days! Having it come over my forehead and up over my chin is very nice and makes a big difference to help me get out on colder days. It is a little scratchier than I was hoping - did not bug me once running but will likely use it as a second layer.
