My 3rd one.
I live in this thing all summer. On the boat, on the beach, biking the Andes Mountain. I also got it treated for mosquito protection. It's my favorite piece of clothing.

Worth every penny
Absolutely love this shirt. It’s made of magic. Awesome for summer around water. Dries very quickly. Can wear swimming instead of sunblock. Keeps the sun off you and keeps you cool as it breathes well. Also keeps you warm as the sun goes down. I have a bunch of these. I wear them all the time! Great for most outdoor activities.

Great lightweight layering piece of kit.
Tried and true gear. Do not wear it as the outer layer if carrying a heavy backpack; put a lightweight vest over it to receive the strap rubbing.

I use the hoody during my runs and really enjoy the breathability, light weight, and zip pocket for gels/phone. I also really like how the hood fits over my hat and sits comfortably as I'm running. I can see myself using it more during summer hikes/runs.

Downgraded Astroman Hoodie
I prefer the original astroman sun hoodie design. The material seems less stretchy than the original astroman sun hoodie, also doesn't have the thumb loops. Maybe doesn't dry as fast as the original astroman sun hoodie either. Overall, a downgrade from the previous edition.

Just as well wear a trash bag
If you want to wear something that feels like a plastic bag and breaths like one then this shirt might be for you otherwise by a good one like Patagonia, for less money.

Awesome ventilated sun hoody
This sun hoody made it an entire thru hike of the JMT and has no signs of wear even after being worn under a backpack the whole trip. There is minor pilling at the cuffs, but nothing to worry about. The ventilated sides are HUGE in letting a breeze through the jacket - a game changer when the sun gets oppressive at high elevation. The half-zip helps as well. Like most jackets made of this fabric, it does get a little smelly after a few days, and that smell tends to cling pretty hard - par for the course in the world of sun hoodies! I find it dries pretty quickly after a creek rinse.

best sn hoodie on the market
super lightweight. 3/4 zip. excellent hood that stays up, even at 30 mph when zipped. I have used the hoodie hard. bikepacking the entire Colorado Trail and it's still in great shape.
