We appreciate the fact that Outdoor Research created the Carbide Bib Pants for some of the snowiest days of the year, and outfitted them with stylish Arcade belt webbing suspender straps. Waterproof, breathable protection comes in the form of fully sealed seams and a 3-layer Pertex Shield construction, while a multitude of pockets carries everything from our wallet and phone to trail maps and avalanche beacon. Plus, OR even gave these bibs a Swing Hatch to help us answer nature's call when we're in the middle of a powder run.

Nice, Thin, Bibs

These are super comfy! Very thin, though, need multiple layers underneath. I am in between a M & a L, glad I got the L.

SNUG
SUPER tight at the thighs and waist, otherwise they are very nice. im 36" @ 210lbs.

great for bird legs
I had to get a large, short. Doing squats and working out made the thighs to tight for last season's medium. They are my go to bibs for ice climbing and teaching skiing on the rain days. Pertex is lighter and better than the new gore stuff. Ilike the big chest pocket and the beacon clip Would like to have full length zippers!

Size chart is awful.
Go big or don’t order. I ordered based of my size which would have been a medium. They are not even close to fitting. Way too small.

Amazingly lightweight and breathable. Huge pocket on the front which fits both my wallet and phone. The new goretex material is holding up just as well as it used to.

Never had a bad day on the mountain in these bibs
I'm a resort rider who typically heads right to the back bowls and tree runs. These were my first pair of bibs and are now my default bottoms from start to finish of the season. Warmer through the core than I thought they'd be, with plenty of pocket volume and good locations. Plus, the zipper fly is a very convenient feature. All around superb pair of bibs.

Very Happy with the bibs
Excellent quality and more than reasonable price, customer service is also phenomenal - had to return ones as medium size was a bit tight in the thighs and got large instead - large fits great (only wish they would be a touch longer) but once again very happy with the product
