The best duffel of this size that I've tried

I use this pack for train and airplane travel and find that it fits everything I need and has good carry options for comfort. I love the dirty laundry/stinky running shoe compartment.

Overall nice duffel

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Overall I like this duffel and am happy with this purchase. The main reason I bought it was for the separate shoe pocket, which is great for wet shoes or sweaty clothes. The backpack straps feel a little awkward. For some odd reason it doesn't stay on my shoulder when slinging it over just one shoulder like I often do with other backpacks for a quick run to the car or into the gym. I know a hybrid duffel/backpack can't be perfect at both tasks and this one really works fine, just not as good at being a backpack as a true backpack. If it had come with a single shoulder strap as well I probably would have ditched the backpack straps by now and just used that. In the end though I will continue to use it. Zipper and material are nice and overall I really like the bag.

Great duffle bag for travel, not a dry bag

Bought this to use for travelling. Perfect size for 10 days of clothes and an extra pair of shoes. It’s pretty weatherproof but definitely not waterproof. On a recent trip had to take a water taxi between towns. All bags were placed on roof of boat. It was pretty choppy and the boat got knocked around. Just as my partner said I hope we don’t lose a bag, the boat stopped and turned around. It was my bag that got tossed from the boat. Everything was pretty wet inside. But at least it didn’t sink! Roll top dry bags are water proof.

Great Carry On

Great carry on sized duffel that can be used as a backpack. The sizing and feature is key to making a duffel a good carry on. Also has a side bag that can be used for shoes or dirty clothes.

This is a great overnight, or over weekend bag when driving or flying somewhere where you don't want to travel too light. The bag is made of very sturdy reinforced material and has great zippers, handles and shoulder straps. the only drawback is the shoulder straps aren't concealable like on other similar bags and sometimes get in the way when not in use.

Almost perfect

Bag has lots of great features. Not quite perfect. Wish the hardware for the top of the straps didn’t stay exposed when you the take the straps off. A loop for a G-Hook would have been preferable to me. I wish the bottom of the bag was covered in cordura to protect the rubber coating. I expect it will eventually wear and allow water to more easily ingress. These are minor gripes. It’s a great bag. I use it daily as a gym bag and often as a carry on for flights.

Great for the gym

I purchased this duffel to use as my new gym bag. It provides plenty of space for all my gear, and a change of clothes when I’m heading to the gym directly from work. The dirty shoe pouch is another great feature - keep those stinky things separate! This bag is great for daily use, travel, and so much more. Some may find the 40L too large, but it’s the perfect size for what I’m using it for.

great gym bag

this bag is a great gym bag. fits my hygiene bag, sandals, and change of clothes easily. the only strange thing I did not realize is the "long strap" to sling over your shoulder is actually two straps so you can where the bag as a backpack opposed to a duffle. you can sling it like a duffle but the strap isn't as long. I love the bag. appears completely water resistant or proof. perfect size

I purchased the 40L size bag and have taken it on a couple trips now, works perfectly as carry on luggage for flying as its just big enough to carry enough clothes for a weekend trip but small enough that you wont have to check it, the added backpack straps are a big plus, makes it extremely comfortable to carry around at the airport. I do wish it had an added cross body strap to carry it like a normal duffel but using it as a backpack will work for most people. The waterproof fabric works great, the added compartment on the side meant to separate dirty clothes from the rest of the bag is a nice touch, makes organization much simpler. If you need something for more of a week long trip I recommend getting a larger size especially if you're putting something large like hiking boots in the bag

Good Duffel

there is plenty of space in the duffel. The strap configuration and size feel awkward at times.
