Perfect weight, great wind protection
I bought this to use for skate skiing in below freezing temps. It doesn't get super cold here, usually operating between 20–30 degrees F. The front of the vest provides excellent protection from wind and keeps your core comfortable while allowing heat exhaust from the thinner back panel. The fit is trim—I purchased a medium based on the on-model fit notes and am happy with the fit for activewear, but cannot wear this as a casual layer over a flannel or looser fitting long sleeve. It fits snug and streamlined. I am 6'1" and 175lbs with a longer torso. If you're between two sizes and intend to use it at a crossover or hybrid piece, I suggest sizing up. For a purely performance active layer, go with the smaller one. For context, I typically buy size large tops (or medium-tall if available).

perfect vest
Been looking for this vest for years...OR made one at last. A lightweight vest with very functional pockets, including the internal drop pockets. I bought two sizes, the small is great over a base layer, the medium over a layer or two. I have an athletic slender build, 29in waist, not huge shoulders but fairly wide, 150lbs, 5'11"
