Why We Like The Direct Route II Glove
Checking off our tick list at the crag with our partner requires lots of belaying, rappelling, and general rope management. Great quality, sturdy and comfortable
These gloves are great! They're obviously high quality, well made, soft to the touch, and sturdy whole providing full range of motion. My hands don't feel trapped in them and they are pretty breathable. The large accessory straps on the cuffs are great additions- they're easy to throw on a carabiner. They look good too and go with my coyote colored gear!

Does What They're Supposed To Do
Solid product. Used for shooting and generally work around the land. Felt confident in grabbing branches without getting poked. Would buy again.

Great gloves - lasting well
Gloves fit as advertised and have held up to lots of everyday chores and outdoor activities. They were a little thinner than I had expected, but that has turned out to be a good thing.

Fit nice and snug for optimal ropework.
Nice fit, good grip, breathable, comfortable with good seams. Wish the dye used didn't bleed onto my hands as much when the leather gets wet though.

Great Gloves!
I use these gloves for rope rescue and general work at the fire department (not for fire). I typically sear a size large in gloves and a large fit perfect on me. Snug, not tight, good dexterity for handling rope, manipulating hardware, and tying knots. Good durability so far with the leather and breathable mesh is helpful for the warmer days. Same strong loops as other OR gloves for donning and clipping with a biner. Highly recommended, and plan to buy again.

Fantastic Leather Gloves
These wear well, have a short break-in period, and are great gloves overall for many tasks both around the house and in the country, be it hunting, cutting firewood, or knocking out common repairs. I've got several, including spares, and will continue buying more.
