Why We Like The Direct Route II Glove
Checking off our tick list at the crag with our partner requires lots of belaying, rappelling, and general rope management. Thankfully, the Direct Route II Glove prevents rope burn when lowering our partner and keeps our fingers warm as we stand in the shade. Its leather design and breathable mesh combine dexterity with durability for a multi-season solution.

Great quality, sturdy and comfortable
These gloves are great! They're obviously high quality, well made, soft to the touch, and sturdy whole providing full range of motion. My hands don't feel trapped in them and they are pretty breathable. The large accessory straps on the cuffs are great additions- they're easy to throw on a carabiner. They look good too and go with my coyote colored gear!

Does What They're Supposed To Do
Solid product. Used for shooting and generally work around the land. Felt confident in grabbing branches without getting poked. Would buy again.

I love these gloves
I have had a pair of these for three years for heavy rope work and they have only just started to fall apart. These new ones look like they are a little thinner but still fit great. Only time will tell if they will last as long.

Solid multi-use gloves
Multi-use gloves that are my go to gloves in the woods and around the yard for just about everything. Durable with ample padding to minimize friction/vibration in the hands. Would recommend!

solid pair of gloves
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) work well for belaying and rappelling, only complaint is that the fingers seem a bit long and skinny, had to size up so that they weren't tight, now they are a bit too long in the fingers

Best belay gloves
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second pair after wearing out the first over many years of regular climbing. Best fit, grip, and comfort and the fabric back keeps hands cooler on hot days. My whole crew uses and loves these gloves

Fantastic Glove
This glove is excellent for long narrow hands and have a slim fit. Following the size guide is recommended before purchasing. If you have a wide palm or hand then I recommend sizing up. Personally, I have always had problems with other gloves snagging in carabiners due to bulk and extra fabric (Petzl), but I happily do not have this issue while using these gloves. Great for technical rescue.
